Though the first half was pretty dull I thought we outclassed them second half. I never thought I'd see us looking so comfortable on the ball so quickly. With 3/4 decent additions next season could be our best yet.I think the keys quality not quantity for me. I'd go with 1 RB, 1 CM and 1/2 strikers. Providing we don't get a long list of injuries I think well do well again. Well done Mark Hughes.

Typical hundredth game since being in the Prem of playing 1 good half and one bad one. 80% of our possession was ridiculous sideways and backwards passes in our own half for pete's ssake !! Come on man, raise your expectations just a tiny little bit !

Isn't the fact that were dissapointed at not beating them progression in itself. A season or so back we would have looked on it as a good point. Also 10th in the table with the size of our club and turnover is a great achievement.

A bit more steel at the back for me. Peter Whittingham though said they deserved more than one, and that they dominated and controlled the game!
Do footballers believe their own lies?

Do footballers believe their own lies? do fans believe theirs ? Why are you always so argumentative? It seems like you purposely take the opposing view just to be controversial, no matter the subject. It has happened in a number of threads where it seems you take some delight at winding people up..... Unless you are another poster in disguise....

You are right, I have noticed that if i don't say the exact same thing as everybody else and have an opposing view, as you so aptly point out, I am said to be a wind up merchant ! Nobody told me when i joined up that i was supposed to say what everybody else says ! Sorry

No I never said that because you don't take the same view, I said it seems like you purposely take the opposing view, there is a big difference there.
I never said that you should take the same view either, but your tone and constant sarcasm and dismissive retorts only serve to try and wind people up, such as your last attempt to me.
By all means, disagree, I have done the same, but I don't act like you do.

In this league I think anyone outside the top 7-8 are pretty happy with getting anything away at any team.
I seriously think some people believe we should be challenging for the title.

We were poor 1st half. There was a period at the start of the 2nd half where we were under the cosh and it looked as those we were going to get beaten but the disallowed goal seemed to take the wind out of their sails and we got back into the game and towards the end it was us making the better chances and I'm disappointed we didn't win it in the end.

I missed the first half, but the highlights did show that Cardiff were the "better" side as you said mayf.
I'm glad the goal was disallowed as they really were in the ascendency.... That said, I thought we looked more composed on the ball while they tried to play with a high tempo and keep the pace up. Nothing unexpected by a relegation threatened side, and it was as I expected. Happy with a point and feel that we were not as switched off as some might have thought after reaching the magical 40 point mark. A good test, that while not pretty, a point was a fair result.

Not like you to be negative. Apparently drawing against a team that will be relegated is a positive thing to you! Firstly, you don't know they'll be relegated. Secondly, a point away at any team in this division is a positive thing, for a team like us it always was and always will be.

A good solid draw today.
Apart from another nightmare from Cameron, nothing to complain about.

I didn't think we were great today or poor today. Mostly an average performance. Crouch should have connected a bit better in the first half from Arnie's crosses. I felt we went flat once we took him off, I would have taken off Odem instead. Overall a decent point at a team fighting for their life. We have three games left and I think we can win both our home and draw at WBA. I'll be very happy with that

We need another right back in, not because Cameron has been or is shit at RB, but becuase it is not his normal position and I think he'd be better suited in CM

Obviously it's all about personal opinions but I really look forward to attending every home match now rather than being bored to shit under TP or for the first half of this season thinking WTF is going on.
Viva la revolution.

Any point is a good point away at this time of the season.

The constant dirge that you post is beyond tiresome. It's a shame you didn't feel the need to spam nearly every thread with utter rubbish when we really were putting in poor performances. I think most of us have vastly raised expectations recently. Wonder why?
