Out of that lot the only one I'd want in our side is Caulker. Mutch is an excellent player too but not sure I'd want him ahead of what we have.

Would maybe take Zaha too depending on what his wages were and if Man United were thinking of letting him go permanently. Then again, if we could keep Assaidi I'd much prefer him than Zaha.

Well, the good news is that we don't have to care even slightly about some little morale boosting piece in the Cardiff local paper by some Cardiff supporter. That said, I can do it the other way:
DAVID MARSHALL v ASMIR BEGOVIC:
The best goalkeeper in the league and possibly the world versus a bloke whose ability set should have him at the top of the Championship or maybe at a relegation threatened Premier League team.
Marshall 3, Begovic 10
KEVIN THEOPHILE v GEOFF CAMERON
I haven't a clue who Kevin Theophile is, but he has a silly name and he's probably better than Geoff Cameron.
Theophile 6, Cameron 4
STEVEN CAULKER v RYAN SHAWCROSS
The only thing Steven Caulker gets 8/10 at is being inferior to Ryan Shawcross in every sense. One of the best centre-backs in the league versus over-rated relegation fodder.
Caulker 5, Shawcross 10
JUAN CALA v MARC WILSON
I couldn't care less who or what Juan Cala is, but I'll stay safe and go with Wilson.
Cala 5, Wilson 7
FABIO v ERIC PIETERS:
I like Erik (don't they have sub-editors at Wales Online?) Pieters, he's been a very good signing for us. Fabio, meanwhile, is just dross, who looks on the verge of crying whenever he plays.
Fabio 4, Pieters 8
GARY MEDEL v GLENN WHELAN
Medel is highly rated, but Whelan has been an absolute revelation this season.
Medel 7, Whelan 9
PETER WHITTINGHAM v CHARLIE ADAM:
I don't know why Wales Online think that Charlie Adam's best days are behind him (I know he looks 50, but he really is in his mid-twenties), or why they think he'd start alongside Ireland. Still, I've have him over Whittingham any day.
Whittingham 5, Adam 7
JORDON MUTCH v STEPHEN IRELAND:
In this bizarro world match up where Ireland and Adam play alongside each other, Ireland finds himself matched with Jordan Mutch. Mutch seems to be their best player, but I'll take Ireland.
Mutch 6, Ireland 7
MATS DAEHLI v MARKO ARNAUTOVIC
ARNIE ARNIE ARNIE ARNIE ARNIE
Daehli 5, Arnautovic 9
WILFRIED ZAHA v PETER ODEMWINGIE
One has been pretty toss since January, one has played his best football for a couple of years. No contest right now.
Zaha 5, Odemwingie 7
FRAIZER CAMPBELL v PETER CROUCH
Campbell is a repulsive cheat. The end.
Campbell 0, Crouch 7
TOTALS: Cardiff 51 (out of 110), Stoke 85 (out of 110)

I like Caulker.
If we're fearing the end for Huth, I'd be more than happy for him to come in and play alongside Ryan.

I haven't seen much of Begovic this season so can't comment (I do like what I have seen of him though) but I'm guessing you haven't seen much of Marshall either...He has been superb. The fact we are near the bottom is down to the dreadful defending of the whole team, not him. We would have have already been relegated without Marshall...As a Cardiff fan though, I don't recognise these fantastic Cardiff players that this article is talking about. The table at this stage of the season doesn't lie and I think that speaks volumes about how biased this review is. I think it was Wales Online that said, player for player, we were far superior to Crystal palace as well. So this piece isn't speaking for the average Cardiff fan, I think that's fair to say. Mats Dhaeli does look special though. He was rated above Januzaj at Man Utd but left to join Molde (He's Norwegian)..I was watching a stream of the W.B.A game and the commentator quoted what OGS had said about him.....The co-commentator was very dismissive- 'good luck with that comparison' he said.......By the end of the game though, even before Dhaeli scored, he said that he could see why OGS had made that comparison. He really looks very, very good.......Come on boys, unless you've seen someone, you shouldn't automatically assume it's a silly comparison. Bale was written off. Most of you didn't rate MH at first either......even The Beatles were written off at the beginning I've seen Marshall at fault countless times this season some absolute howlers. Whereas Begovic is probably in the top 5 goalkeepers in the world and has been rumoured with a 15m move. Funny reading name one other than the chelsea game where eto kicked the ball out of his hands, even motd said he's been the best keeper in the prem this season!

That's it then he must be if Lineker and his bunch of fuckwipes at MOTD say so. Trust me when I say that, Begovic is one of the best goalkeepers in world football and will go on to do things in the game that Marshall can only dream about.

Congratulations he is a decent shot stopper unfortunately that's a GK's job! Personally your more deluded than that TWAT that wrote the article on 'Wales Online' if you think Marshall is anywhere near the standards of Begovic! Hope we stroll into Cardiff & give you cunts a hammering! Enjoy the championship next season wont you!

You really don't want to use MOTD to back up your claim. I remember when they said Petr Cech was the only player to deal with Rory Delap's throw ins at the Brit. They did however, forgot to mention that Delap was injured, and didn't play that day Anyway, no offence to your keeper, he's obviously a very good one, but I won't even entertain an argument with a fan of ANY premier league club that think they have a better keeper than Bego. First World class footballer I've seen at Stoke. The guy could play for anyone.

He's played most of his career in the championship for Cardiff, If he was that good why haven't any prem team snapped him up before now?

Fucking hell, if MOTD said it then it must be true. Deary me He's done very well this season but best keeper in the Premiership? Not a chance, he'd be behind Mignolet and Begovic straightaway.
