1.Who have been your stand out performers so far this season? - Begovic and Shawcross for consistency. Arnoutovic is now coming into his own and looks an incredible player and Odemwingie has been outstanding of late too. 2.Was Hughes the right choice of manager? - 100%, yes. He's transformed our fortunes and we're on course for our highest ever league finish and highest ever points total. 3.How do you view the Cardiff game, will it be a walk in the park or a tough game? - tough game. You're fighting for your lives and our results away from home still aren't good enough. That's the final aspect Hughes needs to address. 4.Who do you think is likely to get relegated at the end of the season? - Sunderland, Norwich and one of Fulham and Cardiff. 5.Out of the current Cardiff squad, which player would you have, and why? Not Kenwyne, that's for sure! Maybe Mutch from the bits I've seen. 6.Finally, what’s your score prediction for the game? - Away win, 2-1.

1.Who have been your stand out performers so far this season?
Shawcross has been an absolute rock and stepped up to another level without Huth. Begovic is won us points on his own at times. Whelan has been a revelation in the middle of the park and Arnautovic has brought the excitement back. Odemwingie has provided us with that extra bit of pace and ability to finish that we've been sorely lacking and has been simply brilliant for us.
2.Was Hughes the right choice of manager?
Definitely. Watching Stoke is no longer a chore.
3.How do you view the Cardiff game, will it be a walk in the park or a tough game?
It'll be a tough one. We're still poor away from home, even though the performance levels have improved and you're fighting for your lives.
4.Who do you think is likely to get relegated at the end of the season?
Cardiff, Sunderland and then any one out of Norwich, Fulham, West Brom and Swansea. Norwich look the most likely.
5.Out of the current Cardiff squad, which player would you have, and why?
I'd probably take Jordan Mutch, seems a tidy player. Marshall's a good keeper as well but we're sorted, hopefully, with Butland (if Begovic leaves in the summer).
6.Finally, what’s your score prediction for the game?
2-1 Stoke.

Begovic, Shawcross and Whelan have been consistently good all season. Marko Arnautovic has taken time to adjust to life in the Premier League but is really starting to look the part now and is our biggest threat down the left. 2. Absolutely he's still kept our solid spine and general toughness but he's added a bit of flair and creativity further up the pitch that was preventing us from progressing. He's kept most of what made us successful under Tony Pulis but we are now in a position to really dominate games. 3. Had you asked me a fortnight ago I would have said a walk in the park but you picked up a tremendous win away at Southampton I'm not as confident. I still think it's a game we should be winning comfortably if we want to cement ourselves in the top 10. 4. Sunderland, Yourselves and Norwich. 5. Kenwyne Jones in all seriousness Steven Caulker wouldn't go a miss we're pretty short in the centre half area after Huth got injured plus it might mean that Hodgson will be forced to finally see Shawcross play. 6. I think it'll be tight but I think we'll edge it 2-1

1.Who have been your stand out performers so far this season? The whole team have been good on the whole, Start of the year was rocky really and Geoff Cameron was the standout there, in the latter half of the season we have truly found our feet though and Arnautovic, Crouch and Odemwingie have all been a cut above! Shawcross and Begovic have been consistently solid all year too 2.Was Hughes the right choice of manager?Yes, absolutely at first I wasn't too sure to be honest and was rather sceptical but the signings he made were shrewd and very good and recently he has us playing football I didn't know we were even capable of! Really like the fella' 3.How do you view the Cardiff game, will it be a walk in the park or a tough game?
Really can't say! With all due respect Cardiff haven't impressed me a great deal, but you're in a position where you desperately need a win! Can't say it will be easy but it has the potential to be exciting 4.Who do you think is likely to get relegated at the end of the season?
Cardiff, Sunderland and Fulham most likely but Norwich look very poor 5.Out of the current Cardiff squad, which player would you have, and why?
Caulker... Best of a relatively bad bunch tbh 6.Finally, what’s your score prediction for the game?1-2 Arnautovic to net both of ours

Seems like it so far, but time will tell! 3.How do you view the Cardiff game, will it be a walk in the park or a tough game? Very tough game as you have everything to play for! 4.Who do you think is likely to get relegated at the end of the season? Cardiff, Sland and Norwich. 5.Out of the current Cardiff squad, which player would you have, and why? Mats Møller Dæhli. 6.Finally, what’s your score prediction for the game? 1-1 Read more: oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/229420/cardiff-fan#ixzz2z9Zqm4Nv

1. The whole squad have had spells where they have been very good. But most consistently Shawcross, Whelan, Begovic and Crouch
2. Yes. Changed the style of football completely in a very quick time period.
3. Won't be a walk in the park at all, no away game is. Cardiff will fancy themselves after the win last week and do have a genuine chance of survival now. The biggest game of the season for you so far.
4. Norwich, Sunderland, if we win on Saturday, Cardiff, if we lose, I fancy Villa.
5. Think that Noone looks half decent when he plays. Medal is also a decent player but should be for the money. Campbell off the bench would be decent. Note that your left back is absolutely pathetic, not sure of his name, hope Odemwingie takes advantage of him.
6. 2-2

The left back position has been a nightmare. We've chopped and changed but it's made no difference..so many of the goals we've given away, have come down that side.

1.Who have been your stand out performers so far this season? Shawcross and Begovic for the whole season and Odemwingie + Arnautovic recently
2.Was Hughes the right choice of manager? At the time of his appointment I didn't think so but now I thoroughly believe he was
3.How do you view the Cardiff game, will it be a walk in the park or a tough game? It's always going to be tough playing against a team fighting for their lives especially after the belief you would have gained at the weekend and, if we are already on our holidays, we could be found out4.Who do you think is likely to get relegated at the end of the season? Sunderland, Cardiff, Norwich
5.Out of the current Cardiff squad, which player would you have, and why? Daehli looks good from what I've seen 6.Finally, what’s your score prediction for the game? 1-2

Shawcross gets my current player of the season vote. Most improved would have to be Glen Whelan. 2. I would say so yes. He maintained from the start that his teams are better in the second half of the season and he's been true to his word. February 1st was the turning point for us and his methods are starting to take effect now, we've played some superb counter attacking football over the last few months, the addition of Odemwingie's pace has made a huge difference. Very positive for the future. 3. No away game is easy in this league, and Cardiff's win at Southampton last week has lifted their morale and gave them some hope again. If we perform to our best I'm confident we'll win though, player for player we are better than Cardiff. 4. Sunderland needed to hold on at Man City last night to give themselves a chance, I think it's too much for them now. I also expect Cardiff to go down as well and Tan is largely responsible for that, I think Mackay would've kept them up. The other team is tough to call, I still think West Brom might get sucked into it. 5. Caulker, Mutch and possibly Medel. 6. Cardiff 1-2 Stoke

Think it was Johns or whoever who played at the Brit. Jesus Christ he was the worst premierleague footballer I have ever laid eyes on. Declan John. In fairness to the lad it was his debut. He has come up through the youth academy where he used to play on the wing, so it couldn't have been easy for him. However, he has been caught out this season a number of times. He isn't ready for first team football and hasn't played in the last few games. He tends to react rather than anticipate and at this level, it's too late by then. ( i.e. watching the inside ball when he's unaware that a player is nipping in around him to receive that through ball) Unfortunately our left back going into this season and who has since regained his place is nowhere near premiership quality either - Andrew Taylor. So I agree, whoever plays out on the right wing area for you, will have time and space to cause damage.
