For a team who claimed that this season was their season, depending on other teams to help them win a spot in the champions league seems very much like every other season for the arse.

Other than this season they'll probably win a trophy - at least they have a good chance. See them right for another few years of consistent underachievement under Wenger if they do win the cup though; 4th placed in 5 of the last eight seasons, 3rd in the other three seasons. By contrast they were first or second in the eight seasons prior to that which included three titles and four FA Cup wins. An FA Cup win and another 4th place could paper over the cracks nicely! But I suspect Mr Arse's time could well be up in the summer. |

Whether you look at Palace's rather fortuitous win at Goodison Park last night from the point of view of the fact that we now have their hot, stinking breath on our necks as they chase down our top half finish or from the point of view that they have gifted back Arsenal their Champions League slot it was an absolute SHITTER of a result. Its gone from Arsenal being minutes away to losing to Wigan in the semi final, and Everton taking a firm grasp on 4th to arsenal probably going to win the cup and them having 4th place in their own hands :/.

Pulis is a legend. A man's man and a massive motivator no doubt for any side. He's a good person (met him twice.) and an even better manager of what he has at his disposal than most in the premier league. I admire his qualities but know his of styles weaknesses. If it works for his club, all the best. Hopefully the old gaffer stays "unrelegated". A deserved accolade for the bloke.
