According to the Sentinel.
The club lost 3000 season ticket holders last year, but gained an extra 1,000
Hopefully we can get up to 22,000 or so and look forward to full houses again in 14/15.

It'll be interesting to see what the final figure is. Sentinel seems to think we're on target for "well over 18000 by 5.30 tonight"2010 storyStoke sold 18,000 season tickets by their early-bird deadline for the cheapest prices in March. The response since they went back on sale a fortnight ago has raised the possibility of City imposing a limit on sales. The club is unlikely to allow more than 22,000 fans to buy season tickets as they have to accommodate 2,900 away supporters in the 27,650-capacity Britannia Stadium and are also keen to leave some for fans who can't attend every game and prefer to pay on the day.
According to this, the total season ticket cap is pretty much at the 22000 that we sold in 11-12 and 12-13?

A mate of mine is a Liverpool supporter and goes to every game but there's an insane waiting list for season tickets.

GD I think we have to keep a certain number of seats (10%??) available for non season ticket holders.

Signed up nearly a month ago via the twelve month option but heard nothing since from V12 relating to DD dates.

Suppose it's pretty unlikely that we'll go significantly above the 11-12 and 12-13 levels and give them a decision to make in turning away potential ST holders - but Norwich capped their sales at 22,000 a couple of years ago.

Thanks Mr Quo,
It just seems odd to me that on one hand the club has made it pretty difficult for floating supporters to purchase tickets on a whim but would also turn down money once the 22k ceiling has been reached.
Personally its in my interest they do keep 10% available as I gave up my season ticket 2 years ago. However on the other hand its almost impossible at the last minute to get two seats together for me and my lad.
I guess its a balancing act.

GD This is Stoke Dave, if there's an easy and there's a hard way . . . . It's right that they keep an amount for on the day sales as there are plenty that can't get to every game for a variety of reasons. If they fill in a corner they could raise that ceiling.

They will take your money on the 24th if you did your ticket on finance. I emailed the finance Co to find out what was going on.
Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Until they sell out for games with the so called lesser clubs (Fulham , Norwich, palace, etc ) they wunna bother contemplating a corner.
That said if they relocated the changing rooms to the empty boothen corner and put 1000 seats above purely for on the day it wouldn't be a bad thing.

This may sound stupid but what does a season ticket actually include? Obviously the league games etc but what else? I'm trying to establish the benefit and whether there's a big difference in savings from paying on the day prices etc. Thank you.

There is the team points thing (I'm sure someone can explain it, I have no idea how it works). If you go every home game, it's stupid not have a season ticket.

I'm trying to establish the benefit and whether there's a big difference in savings from paying on the day prices etc. Thank you. It's a massive difference in savings if you go quite a lot of games each season. I pay 379 which averages just under £20 per game. As far as I know you can't go to any game if you have pay on the day prices at this price. Even if you go to 10 games per season it wouldn't be far off the price of full season ticket. In answer to what else you get, I'm not sure what you expect? Cup games are obv excluded.

I would really love to see a couple of corners filled in! It's bloody cold up there and our football isn't based on weather conditions any more so I think that would be the way to go! I'm a Norwegian, but my God it's freezing up at the Brit at times!!! OK, I'm a cissy, I know! Where have the smileys gone by the way?
