Both fullbacks did a great job today.

I'll go more with, was poor defensively, but was good going forward, and put in some great balls

He was pretty obviously targeted today by Castle in the first half and he owes Ryan a fair bit because he mopped up beautifully for him.

His crossing in the first half was as shit as his crossing the second was good!
Should have conceded a peno as well from the looks of MOTD!

Having watched Match of the Day, it looks like he topped off a pretty hapless display by getting away with having a blatant penalty not given against him. Turned inside out too often again by that not particular good winger and the defence looked shaky all over. He did do some good things defensively and it was nice to see him getting forward more than he has been in recent weeks. His distribution was still ropey and his crossing was for the most part poor. He did put in his first good cross of the season though, which is a nice milestone for him to achieve.

He was terrible first half. His missed header would be brought up for years if it had been Wilko or Shotts. He was poor attacking too. I remember shouting "decent cross Geoff" just before he sent the ball over. Then thinking it was so long since he'd put even a half decent cross in that why I should be surprised that it went straight to a defender.
He was much much better second half.
First half: 4 (maybe 5)/10 Second half: 7/10.

Some harsh friggers in here. Not great, not awful. Did some really good stuff and some not so good stuff but nowhere near 'poor'.

He may not be a great RB but he has been consistently starting in the role for long enough for us to trust Hughes.
I would like to see Jurgen set him as the right back for the World Cup, as he is the only defender that has gone up against real quality strikers.
I would rather see us develop a young right back and keep cameron then go after a late 20s rb and see him rotate with Nzonzi, Whelan, etc.
