On Saturday 5th April 2014 I took part in Born Survivor with a team of 120 called Fuddy Muckers. I've done other obstacle races, but this was the toughest & hardest one by far. What's unique is the our team consisted of men & women of 18 yrs to about 50+. The fitness levels were tested to the max but everyone crossed the finish line. An article was in today's Sentinel. The main reason for this is that we are raising as much money as we can for the Douglas Macmillian Hospice based nr the Brit. I appreciate there are other fund raisers but as the video shows this was not one easy task. Personally I could of quit before the finish line on numerous occasions. However I have no excuses to quit when the people who are admitted to the Hospice are in a far worse state than me, this drove me on to the end. So please if you could sponsor our page, I will be one happy Stoke Fan. PS if anyone knows Jon Hewitt aka Mr Jon who is in his 50's he smashed the course as well! www.born-survivor.com/media.phpwww.justgiving.com/FuddyMuckers2014/

I completely echo what 36DD just posted. It was an incredible yet arduous challenge for a great local cause.
Any contribution, big or small, will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well done to both of you and a fantastic cause. won't be making a donation however as I do the dougie mac lottery every week and I sponsored a mate of mine who did it with a few blokes who go caveman training. He said it was tough as well.
