Just out of interest how old are you??? Im pursuming u must be young to not know why we hate Cardiff so much, ever that or u have only started been a stoke fan since we got into the prem I think hes a Cardiff fan who has only followed Cardiff since they got into the prem or hes on a wind up No, I have followed Cardiff since I was a kid (home games admittedly) but I'm not a fanatic who has any interest in what happened in the past, regarding trouble and hooliganism between different clubs and us. I have also recently started to go on our opponents forums before we play them, to see what they think about our club, especially the re-brand that has been inflicted on us. I am a family man and I genuinely think the 'Hey Jude' song you plan to sing is disgusting. We have had a clean-out at this club and the idiots that used to shame us are no longer affiliated with the club, and that's why i said you'll be disappointed, if you think it's gonna be like it was when we played at Ninian Park. Not quite sure why that qualifies as being a wind up or glory hunter...

It's just a wind up. You should hear what others say about us!!!

Yeah you're right but when you've got kids with you it can be uncomfortable and make you cringe....but I suppose that's part and parcel of football and you can't do much about it.... I love a great atmostphere but some idiots go too far! (not that we've had much atmostphere at City this season- thanks to Vincent Tan.)

Went past the Cardiff stadium yesterday, they are extending it and will eventually raise their capacity to 40K. The Tan twat is obviously mental but he has the financial muscle to return them to the top flight next year, they will no doubt be relegated this season. Got my ticket last week, don't think there will be many unsold, should be a good atmosphere. I know several Cardiff fans and they are all top blokes who support their team with tenacity and loyalty - just like we do. No shortage of boozers in town, would recommend getting a taxi to the stadium. Just hope we don't gift them 3 points. Enjoy!

I don't know about 40,000 but after phase 1 the capacity for next season will be 33,000. Already booked season tickets for the new part. The European super cup or whatever it's called will be held here in August ( The Champions league winners vs Europa winners )

Understand the view but the details of both clubs are extremely complex. As a lifelong Stokie I want us to expand our fan base & we can't do that on our B&Q stadium. Obviously, we need to keep in the mainstream that is the Premiership, but we also need to have a bit more ambition. But I'm only a football fan of many years, so will never be partial to the corporate planning a la Scholes

Your comment speaks for itself, a Clown who wishes he had but never did!! No you're not holding up the flag, but you're directly behind them, so you come on sounding off about me being a clown and claiming I was in your words, never part of the culture, so then did you do a head count everytime it went off? Can't recall you being at a lot of incidents mid 90s onwards maybe you were, I was'nt interested either way. So did you vet every lad coming through in an open ceremory then? you must of missed a trick somewhere down the line as there were plenty who did'nt want to be part of your elitist little group, plenty of better lads out there who did it for Stoke but never liked the limelight such as yourself? Plenty were'nt happy about that cringeworthy Midlands football's factories, poor form that was. Anyway I love how you've made a name writing on the back of so called people you now can't abide, let's face it you used a lot of the lads for your own personal gain, oh the irony!!!!! As you were...

By the way, I have no axe to grind with you just don't see the need for personal insults but at least you're honest in your appraisal, and if I'm honest with myself, then yes lot's of the stuff I got upto in my late teens and 20's to coin a phrase was 'fucking embarrassing' but we live and learn. I go with my kids these days, and even though I can't stand the sanitisation of football these days I would'nt want to go back to the days of watching over my shoulder at football game's.

I remember going to Ninian Park 1979/80 season I think. .just under 5,000 there.
We were in the paddock (about 250 of us) with a few dozen scattered on their open end.
Afterwards we were penned in for about half an hour before being escorted towards a railway embankment. .then left and ambushed by about 500 Cardiff
Now they're extending capacity to 33,000.
How times change

I wasn't insulting you, I was making an observation. Your in your mid thirties now Andy and you say you take your Kids with you, so have a flick thru your thread and post history and ask yourself, would you be proud or embarrassed if your children were to read the words written by their Father on a Stoke City forum and how he presents himself in public! My Kids have read my words now mate.....and trust me, it's a Killer!!
