I'm gonna revive this thread from 2014 Some geezer scouring Google Earth claims to of found what could potentially be the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 in the Cambodian jungle. There are plenty of articles in the press covering this. Here are the co-ordinates: 12.089092, 104.151883 copy and paste them into Google Earth and you will see the plane. Some are saying it could be it and others are saying a plane flew between the satellite taking the photo and the jungle. Thoughts? I have a hard time thinking that a plane would crash on land and no one knew about it. Surely it came down in the ocean. There was a confirmed piece that washed ashore off of Africa.

How would a plane land in dense Jungle and not break up on impact? Having just wasted 5 seconds of my life looking at the co-ordinates, not only is the plane in perfect condition but also not a single tree has been uprooted during the 'crash'.

Just listening to Kev O'sullivan on talkradio with one of the leading investigators on this. It really is spooky as fuck and no one to this day has a clue what happened.
He concludes that it was suicide/murder from the pilot. Only an incredibly skilled pilot could successfully switch off the tracking technology on board and his personal life was fairly questionable which might have lead him to doing this macabre act.
The other view is that it was shot down via military exercises (Vietnam were conducting exercises at the time and one conspiracy theory is that the US did it to stop China receiving sensitive information that was on board, massively farfetched).
The evidence of ruins on various islands in the Indian ocean is totally unsubstantiated and the investigator explains that the flight almost certainly went head on into the ocean at speed and will still be in tact at the foot of the ocean.
The Indian ocean is too vast and he feels if it did, indeed, fly into the Indian ocean, it is unlikely it will ever be found.
100 million was spent on the investigation and no money coming anytime soon to continue it.
Crazy!
