I think that 34 points will be enough. I can see Sunderville finishing on 32, and Cardiff on 29, Fulham on 32.
Hope I'm right and we get 38ish

Undefeated in last 3 with a couple of bonus games coming up what's not to like. Fixtures in March is where it's at. Swansea were always going to be difficult especially on the back of their win against Cardiff. Happy with a point. Keep the Faith. Yeah, bang on (although "happy" is a bit strong) Norwich Wet Sham Villa Hull Our season (2014/15) in a month ... Going to be a nervy ride 'Happy' given the relatively poor performance tonight. Still think 10 more points this season will see us safe. Which is attainable in March. Hop on board the Stoke City Fun Bus it's gonna be a hell of a ride!

Right. Just back from the game and I am absolutely seething. ABSOLUTELY PISSING SEETHING. I'm going to start with today's opposition. Today's opposition, who supposedly play the 'right way'. 'The way football should be played'. The Swansea way.' Well, if that's the correct way football should be played then I don't want to have anything to do with the game any more. I'm lost for words. I really am. First off, Flower boy. What a slimy, smarmy, greasy, cheating, disgraceful, outrageous son of a bitch. No class, no dignity, no humility, no sense of dignity or pride. NOTHING. The worst thing of the lot is we missed the chance to absolutely snap him in two on more than one occasion. Piss off flower boy. Secondly, Williams. Has this guy been taking lessons from John Terry of what? In the ref's ear. All the time. Ran all the way up the pitch just to have a go. Should have been sent off. Piss off Williams. Thirdly, Bony. Strongest player I have seen one minute. As soon as he's tapped- On his arse. Several handballs, one of which was in the box and a stonewall penalty. Piss off Bony. Fourthly, Dyer. Slimy little git. Dirty tackle on Wingie. Should have gone. Piss off dyer. There's too many to mention. But finally, just a special mention for Swansea City FC as a whole. Their ethics and what their game is based around is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. The media jizz over their passing football yet conveniently fail to recognise the Cheating, the diving, the time-wasting, the little digs. Pretending to be injured to waste time at the end (clearly instructed by the manager by the way), rolling around clutching their faces, cowardly tackles. The list continues. In conclusion, this absolute disgrace of a 'football club' are a joke. An embarrassment to themselves. An embarrassment to their fans. An embarrassment to the premierleague. But most of all an embarrassment to football. Promoting the type of cheating across the globe which they d is unforgivable. The sooner they are relegated and go back to where they belong in the lower divisions the better. I hate flower boy, I hate williams, I hate Bony, I hate Dyer, I hate Swansea, I hate wales. You know why? Because I HATE CHEATING BASTARDS. SWANSEA CITY FC- THE DISEASED SHIT STAIN ON COLLECTIVE UNDERPANTS OF FOOTBALL. PISS OFF SWANSEA. And never, ever come back. I apologise for the rant.

Find this a bit strange as Swansea outplayed us in all areas. They play the way we would all like to see, crisp neat passing at pace. Fact is you're angry because we were so inept and have blown 2 massive points with a pathetic performance. The way you describe Swansea is wrong and actually it's the way the nation viewed us under Pulis. It ain't much better under Hughes but at least he's trying to play football. The rest of the relegation teams must have loved this result as we've blown a home banker and are still right in the shit with the rest of them.

I think they got one eye on Dubai and even more so with current weather here. Whenever we have a break after an unbeaten run we lose first game back. Can Hughes buck that trend.

This is the same Swansea that demolished Cardiff at the weekend yes? When are folks going to understand that there are no 'bankers' in terms of Premier League games these days? Every team is a multi-million pound business trying to stay in the big boys league fact, 10 or 11 teams this season all in the mix too. Every game is a fight to the bloody death as far as I am concerned. Yes I thought we were poor last night and yes I thought their passing was 'crisp' and 'neat', but what about their non existent end product in the final third? What about Bony being in Ryan's pocket for most of the game? As someone said earlier, if you were told that in the next three games against Manure, Southampton and Swansea you were going to get 5 points you would have been more than happy. Not a pathetic performance as a point gained, but for Bego and Ryan we would have come away with nothing last night. Dick brain Flores and co would have taken all 3 points gladly, laughing all the way to the bank. Keep it going SCFC and yes I fear it will go down to the wire, but bloody exciting stuff, I am knackered today!

In the end sadly a point gained as i thought we were atrocious throughout the park. And don't give me that shit about the wind cus Swansea played us off the park - pace movement - they seemed at times to have 3 more players. Why we kept playing the ball in the air completely baffles me but hang on a minute - we play the ball in the air cus we can't fucking play football on the ground. We have shawcross/cameron/begovic/adam/odem/crouch in the startin eleven who are good enough - whelan walters Pieters wilson are not good enough - passing is a abysmal. (jury out on arnie). Hoping we have enough to stay up but play like that and only 1 answer. And whatever you think about Flores he was superb at centre half - someone that can play football and pass a ball. As for stokejoefromalsager think the wet weather must be getting to the brain lad. if your saying the stoke fans would prefer what we served up to that of swansea 'problem'

Not once did I refer to 'style of play'. It was the diving, the feigning injury and arguing with the ref that got me, and I certainly wouldn't prefer that.

If they had so many wonderfully quick players running rings around us why were they generally impotent in and around our 18yd box? Fast pretty passing triangles? I know we were poor last night but don't make the opposition out to be some wonder team that we aspire to become, they are not and we don't. By the way only a few days back folks were bigging up the likes of Whelan and Pieters. Funny how one poor performance NOTE not a bad result later and the wrist slashers emerge. Hilarious.

Plus stokejoe, top post you are to be congratulated! I share your anger and your frustration AND your views. The ref got it massively wrong against Williams last night. He either does nothing or shows a red, there is no in between. Would love to see the slap again, anyone got a clip of it?

Sorry not at one stage did i say we have been playing badly what i said was we were shit against swansea. And if you look at other posts you will see my opinion on walters and whelan has never changed - they are both very good championship players. one with no pace and one with the mentality drilled into him by TP to pass sideways and backwards and not get forward. Pieters is to in and out - yes he has had good games but at this level every other game is not good enough the same applies to Wilson. We do not have enough players comfortable on the ball we panic. This is being worked on and i do hope and pray we have enough in the tank to stay up as I think Hughes will bring in more players as he knows 'no pace' big trouble. I also do not want to see diving and kidding referees and the reason 3 or 4 goals did not come was the impressive work again by Ryan and Cameron. I will always get behind the team/manager but on the night we were shit.

I think he is a decent player and certainly an upgrade on what we have had playing at left back in the recent past.(Know that isn't difficult but there you go!)

Good job my wife is out at the moment or she would give me a sound thrashing (again ) for what she calls 'mindless time wasting blogging'. Ok let's go off topic and ask the dreaded managerial question. If hypothetically we did go down and if, hypothetically again, Hughes was moved on and if hypothetically, A N Other manager took over, would you lose this constant fascination and pining for TP? Would you get rid of the TP piccies and finally get behind the new manager? Folks that know me well will tell you that I was fully behind TP (even when he was frustrating the hell out of me) but that time has passed and now I am fully supporting the job that Mark Hughes is trying to do. How about you?

How about you? I will let you into a little secret. I am not pining for TP. The pic at the bottom is nothing more and nothing less than respect for the bloke and all he did for the club and the area as a whole. For me that pic sums it all up. I do not want TP back. I agreed it was time for him to move on as long as it was for someone better. I still don't think hughes is the man and even if he was I still can't stand the bloke and never will so as soon as he is gone the better for me. The pic on the left is just a dig at the disrespectful PHW that gave the bloke uncalled for shit. Having a dig about his football and tactics was fair enough because that is what footie fans do but some of the bollox posted about him as a person after all he did for charities and the area was and still is totally uncalled for. I always have and always will support the club and the lads but I don't care a shit for hughes and before anyone say's anything it is possible to support the club and lads without supporting hughes as the PHW will testify. So there you have it in black and white. Have a nice day.

Fair play Stafford and for what it's worth I am fully with you regarding TP, the man is a legend in my book and I also felt at the time that he was receiving way too much undeserved flak, even in the season just before the FA Cup run to the final. Plus before Cartwright and Co came on the scene he brought us the likes of Ric, Bego, Ethers, Shawcross, Huthy, Rory...and some of the most memorable SCFC moments I will ever have I suspect. I just want to give LMH a fair chance to show what he can do and in my opinion, yes there will be inevitable ups and downs, but so far so good.
