Surely that would cut them off at the bottom if results go against them?

If you do a season predictor, giving Fulham the same wins (home v other bottom 11) as all the other bottom 11, they are bottom by a mile. So they have a tough run in
That guy they've just spunked 11 million on had better be good...

I hope Fulham (and two others) have a shit run.
Realistically, we're not going to be far away from the bottom 3 through February.
The last four games in March are where we have to perform like we seem to do against the big boys...

Agreed. We want some of these clubs cut adrift. The sooner the better.

Garbage, and manager bounce has failed. You'd be hopeful as one of their fans that an 11 mill striker could give a lift, but I guess Berbatov going dents that.

Think Norwich finish with four games against the big boys as well so if they don't make the next couple of months count it's surely adios muchachos to them too.

Losing Berbatov was a major blow in my opinion, regardless of what a mardarse he was... their attacking play centred on him.
I hope they go down. Nothing team with shit fans.

We need to put these clubs to the back of our minds and concentrate on gaining as many points as possible.
If we can get points against the big boys - then so can others.
The no 1 target is to get points from every game, next is to improve our goal difference.
Being 11th at the moment is great for confidence , even though we have 25 points and West ham in 18th have 22 !
Each day the target should be 3 points from the next game!

I said since start of season Fulham will struggle. Ageing slow, side and only adding ageing slow players.
Any team ray Wilkins gets involved with ! Just naturally goes shit.

It will come down to how they perform against teams around them at the bottom rather than getting points against the top teams, after all they are only bonus games We haven't got a great record against teams at the bottom this season and 4 of the home games left are against Swansea Wham Hull and Fulham. If Hughes can get the team firing in those games and so far we seem only up for the big boys then we should be safe, lose to the teams around us and we will need to grind out some away draws and I am not sure we have the players willing to do that.

Yep, the dead cat hasn't so much bounced as been run over by a bus, a steam roller and a column of panzers before being scraped up and deposited in somebody's brown bin.

Fulham 4/9 to go down and 6/4 to finish bottom.
Bet that interests me is Norwich at 10s to finish bottom.

Don't know how nobody's managing to add Cardiff to the mix they were fucking awful at the weekend against Norwich and that was them winning. Think Pulis has done his usual and signed everyone else's share of shit. Who knows whats going on at Swansea but it doesn't seem a happy ship. West Brom couldn't win a fookin tombola and thats before we look at Fulham, Norwich and West Ham who are all pretty dog awful too. Looking at that lot I expect three of them will fare worse than us.

We are absolutely fucking abysmal away from home we ran circles round Fulham that day but couldnt score. We were great against United for 70 minutes and even against Arsenal we played great the second half. It's goal scoring that let us down, we were far from abysmal.

We can't blame bad luck when our record is as bad as it is,I'm not bashing anybody, least of all Hughes but our away points tally is still an embarrassment and needs sorting quick.

Yeah I was on holiday in Crete at the time and was completley dispirited after watching the Norwich game, when we were truly absolutley abysmal. I didn't come away from watching the Fulham game (few days later) with the same hopeless feeling even though we'd lost. An away game, we we're better than the opposition had plenty of possession and most of the attacking play. It was a very bad week results wise but as I recall the Fulham performance was not a mare just the outcome.

You're right of course but its easier said than done. If you play well and don't get the results, do you change what you're doing. Or follow the Roberto Martinez school of thought, that you're trying to do the right things so carry on doing them and the results should follow. Its not easy being one of the Prem's smaller clubs, probably the most important thing is that the staff, players and fans believe in what you're trying to do. I think thats where it all went wrong for Pulis Too many fans, some of his players and eventually the board stopped believing in what he was trying to do.
