That fat West Brom pillock, Adrian Chiles wants stuffing, by a taxidermist! He knows as much about football as my backside!

I have to say we are a very poor side. No movement, no energy, little ambition, players happy just to pass the simple ball sideways or back. On this showing there are not many worse teams in the PL, even if we get a Striker, we have no leaders in the team.

Chiles is a WBA supporter so knows nothing and loves Stoke for obvious reasons. In the end we lost to a set play again, albeit a brilliant one.

Even if we had won we would have been away to Man City in the fifth round!

What I saw was what I was expecting to see.
Simple as that. Roll on Wednesday - you will see a different Stoke team then ..

One thing that pissed me off apart from the football was the inconsistent way the ref delt with bookings, again very quick to book stoke players on one hand then nothing for a Chelsea player for a similar offence. Now I am not blaming the ref for the result because we were shit, but it's so bloody obvious.

We need 3 - 4 players quickly or we will go down.

It's not going to be easy to make the transition whilst there are Pulis players and Hugjes players in the same team. A number of the current first team look uncomfortable on the ball and give the ball away too easily when going forward. Even Shawcross, who played well when Chelsea had the ball in advanced positions, was guilty of misplaced passes in key areas of the field. He, along with Marc Wilson, Geoff Cameron, Arnautovic and Walters repeatedly conceded possession which not only put us on the back foot but also prevented us from being creative going forward. When Stoke lost possession under Tony Pulis we pressed the ball forcing the opposition to go backwards. Hughes is trying to retain more possession than we did under Pulis and looking to pass the ball forward. Today, the players did not look confident enough to do that which was probably endorsed by the lack of movement by our forward players. Having watched the game without interruption today, I can see why we find it difficult to score goals. Our attacking threat is completely reliant on getting the ball to feet in the case of Walters and Arnautovic and to Crouch in the air. The only time we got in behind Chelsea today was through Stephen Ireland making a forward move and we almost scored from it. Players in the mould of Assaidi, Guidetti, Rivière and Odemwingie would almost certainly give us the movement that Ireland, Adam and N'Zonzi thrive on and put an end to what we witnessed today where players lacked confidence to pass forwards and continually played safe. Ultimately that meant the ball ending up with the centre halves or Begovic. This transfer window is now crucial to Stoke City's season. If we can bring in movement up front we will score goals and survive.
