I haven't a clue what Kemp did so I can't really say whether he's good or bad at what he does. Then again 99.9% of posters on here don't know either but It doesn't stop them slating him for being a hopeless yes man. All I know is that he was crap in interviews. Whatever, there is a definite whiff of "Pulis-bashing" about this thread. That should save it from the shit bin. one thing we know for sure is that he managed to make us waste 3.5 million on the hopeless arismendi

So we can bury any Kempo comments by assuming that 99.9% of people are all equally as ignorant as to the input of an assistant manager and pass it off as Pulis bashing? We may as well put everything in the shit bin if so many are incapable of reading, listening and forming an opinion. Incidentally I don't give a fuck either if the prehistoric duo have teamed up again. As long as we are rid of em, I say. I haven't seen any "facts" to back up the opinion that he's useless bar his press conferences (lets be honest, most managers are pretty crap in that respect, including Sparky....not that I think it matters one way or other) and the Arismendi balls up. In contrast, helping to get us promoted and then contributing to our steady progress would make a pretty convincing case to suggest he may have his uses. In relation to what goes in the shit bin I suggest stick to your current policy a la if you don't like it, bin it. It seems to work for you. So you are crediting helping us to get promoted and bestowing a major input into keeping us up whilst denying anyone the right to offer an alternative view and criticise (well laugh at in reality)Kempo on the basis no one knows a damn thing about what he did? Works for me. It makes as much sense as your shit bin theory to be fair.

Was Kemp the brains behind our set piece play? We haven't scored a single headed goal since he left 20 matches ago. So because Kemp leaves our players forget everything he ever said or did. I know footballers are a bit thick but I didn't think they were goldfish.

Kempy, our superb overseas scout blessing us with players like Diego Arismendi. you need a really special talent to go to South America, a continent in which very good footballers literally grow on trees, and manage to source one as mediocre as arismendi Don't mean to be pedantic but I live in South America and I can say with reasonable certainty that good footballers do not literally grow on trees.

The erroneous use of 'literally' to add emphasis is my current bugbear. It literally drives me up the fucking wall.

Never said I hated Pulis mate so not sure if you were linking my Kemp comment with an apparent hatred of TP, got nothing but respect for the guy. Ive seen quite enough Pulis bashing threads on here to last me a lifetime. Wasn't aimed at you mate just picked up on the Arismendi episode as the only thing you can point at and say was shit. Can't really fathom the rest of the utter disdain for him on this thread. Ahh fair enough. I do agree though with what you mean about the hatred towards Pulis and Kemp. I wanted change when Pulis left because I felt both he and the club needed too do it but he definitely doesn't deserve some of the negative dross being thrown at him and his coaching team.

So you're saying: A) he didn't help us get promoted B) he didn't have a major input in keeping us up Which I guess means that Pulis is even more of a genius than the most hardcore Rimmer would have you believe. Works for me. PS. I'm not denying anyone the right to anything. I just prefer people to back up their opinions with facts, particularly if they're going to stick the knife in a la Pulis and now Kemp.
