Its my birthday on the day of the Leicester cup game and I'm thinking of 'lording it up'. Can anyone tell me what the Waddington suite is like on a match day? - what do you get for your money and are there any other alternatives worth considering?
It checked out the official site but it useless.
Cheers

For saturday matches
Parking, pre match interviews with current and past player(s), post match interview with MOTM. Bit of light entertainment via Terry Conroy (normally but not always).
Programme, 3 Course meal, pies at full time, coffee, cash bar served to table, good comfy seats for the match.
It's a good day out, one of the best corporate areas in the prem IMO.

Without going over whats already been said i highly recommend it as a one off treat. They really do look after you and i had a fantastic day when i did it for my old mans birthday.
Only down side is during the match your surrounded by people who've not been told your supposed to sing and enjoy the game....

With the game being only £15, there'll be a deal on for this game, so it's as good a time as any to go for it. I go in a few times a season and the novelty has worn off a bit, but for a one off it's still a good day.

Only down side is during the match your surrounded by people who've not been told your supposed to sing and enjoy the game.... The only other potential downer is that sometimes people in there can talk over the interviews, when I was in there once Terry Conroy was interviewing Gordon Banks, and people were just chatting away in the room quite loudly, and it was very frustrating (and rude IMO), both for those wanting to listen and for Terry and Gordon. Terry had to keep asking sections of the room to pipe down. Other than that minor irritation it was a mint day out, there was plenty of shouting from our section - not much singing same as you say.

It's not the same in the Stanley suite, I work in the kitchen and the wadd is a 3 course meal and in the Stanley it's a hot buffet plus dessert then in the 1863 it's a carvery with maybe a curry or a make your own stir fry option. If I was going to go I'd choose the wadd as the rest of the package is better although more expensive

Agreed Waddo Suite is a really good day out. Once every couple of seasons is worthwhile.
In addition to what has been said you also can get a tour of the ground including dressing rooms, media room and see where interviews are given immediatedly after the game. Terry Conroy has hosted and does an excellent job.
For Premier League games the cost has shot up but for Leicester you should be able to get a more reasonable price.
Enjoy

What kind of ballpark figure are you looking at for the Waddo?

What's this 442 discount? It's a bit like 2 for 1 (241) except more footyfied.
