The biggest thing from that first half is that if we finish below either of these then we don't deserve to stay up. Two pretty dreadful sides. That we can agree on mate! Add Sunderland, Fulham to that, and whether Hull & Cardiff can pick up the dirty wins against rivals - pointless beating Liverpool or Man City then losing the next 3 against teams around you

True' but desperation is a scary motivator and an even scarier opponent to play much in the ilk we were under TP in them early days... kinda miss it. Kinda don't.

Prediction. Crystal Pulis lose, and we then get to hear about the "really aaaard luck" they had.

However poor the skill base (both teams), there's no doubting the level of commitment by the Palace team. Can we truly say the same about ourselves?

Ten men back for the 2nd half then. That'll test the mettle of these jolly old Palace fans.

Definitely a case of grinding out a result under TP, whereas we appear to be dancing to defeat these days under PM.
Make a choice A or B.

And they're on about spending money in January, I don't think they need it. TP barring Chamakh has got a side here ready built for him, the less fannying around with it, the better I think they'd do. In the end that's what killed him here, he went away from what he was good at and it didn't work.

Easily got the best home atmosphere in the league and hopefully other sets of fans in the Premiership will follow suit.

It went when TP was still here so I can't quite understand the sudden lamenting of its disappearance. It was still there mate, a little subdued maybe but still there. I don't think it was. From January of this year it went. And that Wigan home game was the culmination of it. Even Shawcross was telling Tone to fuck off. It was horrible. That was the moment that confirmed TP had lost them to me and that he wasn't long for the job.

good luck TP got shat on by the PHW's Yes, a typically battling display sees Palace in front at half time. The pressure is on Hughes tomorrow after Saturdays shambles.

Talking of predictability, Ian the barber bummer here. I was talking to my barber the other day, reminiscing about bumping into him at Wembley for the FA Cup Semi. Happy days.
