The problem at the moment is that the Club are in a situation like their has been a change of Government. Discontent & the old boss goes. New one in, but the problematic issues that were left from the previous are still going to play heavy on his spendings & dealings. By the time the new boss is settled, will their be calls for a new change?
The other problem though is that TPs dealings/spendings will continue to be an issue for a few more years yet.

Pugsley's fears are more than fair here. He's spot on. He may well be, but a bit premature. We have no idea what will happen between now and the 2nd September and we have no idea of how well, or not, the present squad will react to the new management team's approach. IMO. Premature turns into a last minute panic in the blink of an eye - especially in this game. Once that window is shut it's too late to be assessing how the squad will react to the new style. We need players in that the manager knows can adapt to his style to give him a fighting chance. We have tough opening fixtures.

Mark Hughes doesn't agree with you, he has praised the skill level of his players. Yeh but straight after, under his breath, I'm sure I heard him say ....they're fucking wank"

The problem last year was that we gave the ball away too easily. Thus inviting pressure on us. The new plan is to pass the ball sideways for 89mins before launching it long for crouch to head in. One attack. Whamm. Easy.

What concerns me the most is that Hughes has a boner for SJW as did TP.

When all we needed was Championship runners. Now we actually need proper footballers the Manager is not backed. Just when an extra 20 odd million is guaranteed. Where is the money going Mr Coates? As usual, it's amateur hour at the Brit. you are like a broken record

Mark Hughes doesn't agree with you, he has praised the skill level of his players. Do you expect him to publicly say they are a bag of shit? Absolutely no need for him to, he knew he could rely on you to "tell it how it is" for him!

What concerns me the most is that Hughes has a boner for SJW as did TP. Dunna werrit. As soon as Hughes has had the time to put his own stamp on the squad, players like Walters will be a thing of the past.

We get it Those are more facts than opinions. My opinion is that Coates isn't backing his new man - I could be wrong on this as there is time but I don't see the sense in waiting. Also my opinion is that the team needs 2, maybe 3 Quality footballers - only a complete tool would disagree.

The previous manager stayed in the division with these players as you say we need 3 players so the side can not be that bad,i think Man u are not backing there manager aswell no,its agents and players trying to hold clubs to ransome which is the problem. And all this crap about 100millon spent yes he did ,but brought over 350millon back in by staying in the prem so not a bad invesrment for mr coates.

Left with a bunch of hoofers but only need 3 players??????? So we get these 3 players and then just hoof it to them with the other 8? Good idea that. I can't understand why Coates didn't ring you after saying bye to Mr Pulis.

His dealings APPEAR to have left the new manager without a pot to piss in. no he didn't need to spend that much, but he did and it worked up until last season. Then there was the money generated by keeping us not only in the premier league but comfortably in mid table for most of his time here and do you think Coates would've spent money if the club / Bet365 couldn't afford it? If we haven't got a pot to piss in how come we are making bids of £8m +? Every time I have read a thread you started it is always the same, you are obsessed with this figure of £100m. Change the record.

The idea that TP was poor in the transfer market but MH is good, is a myth that is currently doing the rounds on this board.

We just need a new front three with pace who can score. The rest of the team is at least a match for most outside the top eight. Played in a slightly more attacking system maybe MH will be able to get a little bit more out of our current crop of sharpshooters?

For christ's sake, the team we were promoted with was pretty toss, let's be honest, it was a bit of a miracle. An absolute fortune needed spending just to bring the squad to any kind of respectable level to compete. We were basically on minus. Now we have a squad that just needs tweeking here and there, to say a hundred million quid has been wasted is just bollocks.

We need 2 players who can play behind a main striker. I'd be happy with KJ or Crouchy up front if we had 2 quick skillfull players behind them.
2 from Fabian, Sinclair, Hoillett, Atouba or similar.

Just a thought
Maybe not wasted......more mis used
