If you was worried, then why not simply pick up the phone and call the club and ask them, like other people have done? Why does your neighbour receiving have anything to do with yours? How is anybody on here suppose to have any knowledge of when yours will be sent? When have Stoke EVER sent out all the season tickets in one single hit and made sure that everybody receives theirs on the same day. Bad day poob ?

Maybe he means you can tell its school holidays because Royal Mail staff with kids are allowed to take the school holidays off, so there may be less posties about than usual. Unlikely I know.

how do you upgrade the ticket i have a 13 year old daughter who comes the match with me, but occasinally she cant make it so i take my 19 year old son with me and i,ve never had a problem getting him in on her ticket, but i dont think they will allow this to happen with these new cards as you have to hand the card to a freindly steward they say.

Yes you do get a membership card if you just buy individual match tickets this season. I bouught two tickets for friends for the Palace game and they are being issued with membership cards which will have the Palace game (and any future games they pay for) added to their ticket record on the computer so they can be scanned at the turnstile.

I think the main job of the turnstile operators this season is to check that any one who presents a ticket is the right age. Presumably you ring up or go to the ticket office and they upgrade the ticket in some way. I'd ring the ticket office and ask them how it will be done.

Mine has just arrived, slightly concerned though as the barcode on the back is already faded. I assume they will be scanning the barcode, so I cant see it lasting all season in my Wallet.

I've just chased the TO. Apparently, match day 'tickets' are also loaded electronically onto a card this season so if, like me, you have ordered online via scfcdirect you won't be getting the usual paper tickets.
I ordered my Palace tickets online on 1st Aug but am still waiting for my cards. Paper tickets used to arrive next day without fail.
It really shouldn't have been beyond the club's IT bods to have provided a little pop-up message on screen once the online order was completed.
But no, this is Stoke - meaning customers end up chasing and ticket office staff have to explain over and over...
