David has dropped a big one there wanting Fabregas, fair play to Cesc even if he is a scrote, loyal to Arsenal even though they are shit.

Moyes has spent so many years waiting for apples to drop, he doesn't know what to do now it's his turn to shake the tree.
He's like Crocodile Dundee in a shopping centre, looking in awe at the moving stairs but thinking life was so much easier when all he had to do was sign a youngish lower division midfielder and a Belgian - any Belgian - and everyone would pat him on the back for a job well done.
What price he ends up signing Jermaine Beckford on transfer deadline day?

Who's he missed out on?
Garay is stil favourite to sign, he even said today to Portuguese media he was coming over next week for talks
Thiago was a miss yes, but Pep brought him through at Barca and wants him to be his main trequartista at Bayern with Martinez dropping to CB. He was always going to go there to a coach he knows, also more chance of winning trophies, exact same for Lewandowski.
We're only 17 days into the window.

I don't think they are at crisis point yet! Rooney leaves just means they will only have Van Persie, Hernandez & Wellbeck - how on earth will they cope

I dislike Manure with the best of them but let's get real here.
Rooney's apparent desire to leave has nothing to do with Manure's fall from ascendency and everything to do with the fact that he isn't good enough to be a regular there and his ego has been hurt.
There is a wonderful karma to the Rooney situation given that 2-3 years ago he demanded a transfer on the grounds that Manure weren't ambitious enough and weren't competing to sign top players. 2-3 years on he wants a transfer because having competed to sign top players, he now finds that he isn't a top player himself and isn't good enough to get into their team.
Beautiful. Rooney is an absolute tosspot. I hope Manure let him rot and maybe send him out on loan to Macclesfield Town or Barnet every now and then.

Not sure about fellaini but I would say baines has the potential to be a world star. He's just as good as Ashley Cole. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S34 from the year 2671 via a terminator called Bob. Using proboards of course.

Moyes has rejected a bid from Chelsea of 10m + Mata/Luiz

Moyes has rejected a bid from Chelsea of 10m + Mata/Luiz Both clubs are completely mental, Chelsea for offering that and Utd for rejecting it. Juan Mata was the best all round player in the prem last season.

It must have been Luiz to reject that because 10m and Mata is a no-brainer unless they think they can get more money from them.

I still reckon they will win the league. Let's face it the Prem was piss poor last year.

Is Pellegrini all that? I have no idea it has to be said but the only thing he's ever won in Europe is the Intertoto Cup. Shades of Mancini and the Champions League over again? I don't know but his lack of winning would be an issue I'd have him. The same goes for Moyes but with the added caveat that I think there are other issues with him that don't make him a good match to Man Yoo, mainly playing younger players.

If Chelsea sign Rooney they will win the league. He will get the goals they need and plus the Mourinho factor I reckon they will nick it this coming season.

I agree about Moyes, I think that's quite a strange appointment. Pellegrini worked wonders with Villareal and Malaga though and was unlucky at Real to find himself stuck behind arguably the greatest club side ever in their absolute pomp. Still managed a record points total there. Think his style will fit right in here as well.

It was rare for Man yoo to get one of the worlds best players. Veron was the one where they announced to the world their intention to match the biggest spenders and it didn't work out. They came close to getting Ronaldinho bnut he took less money because he preferred to live in Barcelona than Manchester, I can't think why.
The problem now is the certainty has gone.

Fact is they ran away with the league even with a complete absence of midfielders. City and Chelski are complete unknowns but outside of those two United were so far ahead last season its hard to see them not being up there come next May.
