Also working with some liverpool supporters who sayin if he was signed for them they would be happy. Apparently lfc wanted ti sign him not too long back but he is on 125k a week at man city. If citeh would pay up his contract it could be fantastic business for us.

Can't find the Santa Cruz thread so. .. Speaking to man city fans at work today who couldn't speak highly enough of him. He scored 6 in 9 before Hughes was sacked and doing very well. I appreciate this was a bit back but they say he's a big, tough & hardy grafter and being south american technically good. My opinion after listening to their views has changed on RSC. If we can get him on a good deal it would be a really shrewd signing. SANTA CRUZ ONLY SCORED 4 GOALS FOR MAN CITY

With that new B and M`s opening on the A34 , his missus might think this is a city going forward with a lot to offer. Then again he could always live in Manchester and commute.

Why's that then I think because of Hughes who he's played his best football under, we have as good a chance as anyone? Especially if kj or crouch go, one of which will surely do?

His wife has said she wants to go somewhere sunny and talks are progressing well with Bologna. None of the stories linking him to us have had anything substantial in the way of quotes or evidence to back them up.

As for Bentley, Mark, mate no matter how brilliant you think you are you will not get him back to his best after 5 years, whatever he had is long gone and he will be continually injured.

He mentions somewhere who he was talking to, and weren't mentioned. So I think it's bollocks anyway. It's made up because of Les.

Got a horrible feeling he'll end up here. A bitty career outside of Blackburn, which was four season's ago, and now 31 and on the wane on the back of a huge contract at Man Citeh.
Granted, Hughes knows how to get a tune out of him, or did, which would be my worry.
Just pay the money for Altidore or Bony. Younger, hungrier, pacier and more aggressive.

I'm minded to remember sammy McIlroy who signed from Man U in the eighties said to be washed up and was simply outstanding for us. Age is irrelevant it's the attitude and ability of the player that's key.

A good scenario would be To sell 2 from Walters, Crouch and KJ and to bring in Santa Cruz and a younger more expensive signing.
Ending with something like
Santa Cruz, KJ, Jerome, Altidore/new signing.

I would have him. The Man citeh fans i know love him, they just think he's been unlucky with the world class competition in the club. He may be 31 but he will be good for us on a say a 2 year contract

He was brilliant at Blackburn if injuries haven't taken there toll he still has a lot to offer and is better suited to a club like us. Age isn't a massive issue as he doesn't rely on his pace.

There is quality out there and we will find it without braking the bank. Some fans wont be happy until we break the bank on a player that's been touted around as the dogs dangles but unproven in the prem.
