If I was the chairman of a ambitious league 1 or championship club our Tone would be the first name on my list, the guy is proven class, good luck Tone you will always have a special place in my footballing heart.

I could see him getting a lower end championship job, also wouldn't be surprised to see him in league one. His reputation will put a lot of chairmen off,and it will take a brave one to employ him, because regardless of his successful time here you can bet that there won't be many football fans around the country who would want to watch one of his teams week in week out. Offer any fan of a Championship club the Faustian pact that is TP managing your club: sell your footballing soul for promotion and sustained mid table position in the Premier League, they would snap your hand off. You're forgetting the magical ingredient needed ....... over £100million transfer kitty

Here's a brave shout.....Eddie Howe's Bournemouth will start life in the championship really well, come November/December he will get given a job at either a large championship club that is underperforming Reading/Leeds/Forest...someone of that ilk, or maybe even a prem job a Norwich, Palace or someone else that may be struggling.
After a nice 6 month break, Tone will jump at the chance to manage his local club where his management career all began.
you heard it here first!

I reckon he will end up at Cardiff City even though I have read he has been linked with Sheffield United!

He's a wealthy man now. I can see him putting his feet up until the Wales job becomes available.

Can't believe DW would EVER employ Pulis.
From what I've heard from him in his interviews he loves the way they play, says it's the 'right' way.
That would put Pulis further from the position than the cleaning lady.

I think he'd be ideal for Ireland when Trappatoni stands down.
Plenty of foreign getaways for him and Jon!

I honestly don't ever see him getting another job in the Prem, unless he brings another team up which I doubt he will. But as the man himself used to say 'I've been proving people wrong all my life Nige'

Pulis next job : Walters civil partner. Corrected for you I don't think Tone and Jon will ever go down that road. I see them more as a "Ted and Ralph" kind of pairing. A working class, down-to-earth Irish gardener who just wants to get on with his job with the minimum of fuss, and his well-meaning but socially awkward boss who is secretly in love with him but can't quite bring himself to tell him how he really feels. "Are you interested in French cinema at all, Jon?"

Realistically where do you think Tony will surface in his next managerial role - its fair to say that he will be a brave choice for a lot of chairmen because of negative press and criticisms from their fans. My gut feeling is either the Wales national manager or a struggling but large Championship side at Christmas time (Leeds, Blackburn, Birmingham type club) Whatever he goes on to do he will get best wishes from this potter and a generous applause if he comes back as an opposing manager. Well, he's played this brilliantly tactically so far and I reckon he'll continue to do the same - the way he timed his departure (I still believe this is when he was going in any case), the manner of it, the media coverage and his interviews and now a dignified silence - it wouldn't surprise me at all if he took 12 months out how and waited for his stock to rise and for a few detractors to forget how dire Pulisball at its worse can be - a move to US wouldn't amaze me, a sleeping giant type Champ side or even a newly promoted Prem side whose showier manager isn't hacking it. Weirdly I reckon the place he'd do best is Italy, although I couldn't really see that happening...
