The sad thing is Pulis wouldn't agree he has made bad buys He was defending his policy of buying "experienced " players today in the paper , they have a positive influence on the kiddies he said , we have kiddies? Harry, that's his problem....he believes his own spin

If Pulis stays then I believe we need to look at another 2nd in charge - someone with a different but complimentary approach to improving the team. A former attacking player should be considered imo, we need to improve in this area urgently Another person that he can ignore?

If Martinez is such a fantastic manager, then why can't he see what everyone else can see, which is that Wigans defenders are absolutely dire?? They haven't been rubbish just this season, they have been rubbish for years, so this is unforgiveable He's a Spanish Tony Mowbray, who cultivates the media, and is, in my opinion, MASSIVELY over-rated. Martinez is by far a better manager, has posted above, he has had to wheel and deal. His time in charge at wigan has been done on a -15 million net spend compared to pulis's +54 million. Martinez has been unlucky with injuries this season. I had would have him in a heart beat. But why doesn't he improve the defending then? We slate TP, quite rightly, about improving the attacking side, but Martinez is the same, but it's relevant to the defending side of the game? Lets see how he does if he goes to a bigger club, when you can't get away with being unlucky or having injuries.

I think it's because he uses the modern European coaching tactics which Gary Neville spoke of a while back... 2 center backs with the other 8 more attacking players Unlike tones 9 defenders ..........1striker

We just need a couple of nippy, exciting players that are given the freedom to show what they can do
Not shackled to such a rigid system

Certainly, we want to discuss anyones thoughts and of course we sure will discuss in more detail next week.

We need a fast aggressive left back. Persevere with Shotton at right back. Play Wilson in centre mid with Nzonzi. Play Charlie in the Kevin Sheedy role on the left side of mid (Left back bombing on) A flying right winger. A strong aggressive FAST striker who can score us 15 goals +

Were you on again last night, mate? Oh yes, im afraid im getting a bit frustrated with a manager doing down the club and a chairman quite frankly whose lack of comment during all this destabilising speculation has been frankly staggering. Clearly he has doubts about Tony because he could have put this to bed ages ago. I dont envy his decision however, criticism will flow whatever he decides
