If you're referring to the ten game run which accrued the majority of our points then yes that was good. The question is why he didn't continue to pick similar teams and play in a similar vein. Lets have it right, we've been generally dire to watch for the majority of a season and a half. I'm not sure why that is a controversial thing to suggest? We have been dreadful in the 2nd half of the season, but excellent first half. I don't agree but fair enough. We have very different definitions of the world "excellent" unless you can give me a list of excellent performances because I can't think of many. And as for the second half of last season...?

As soon as the red card was out, we rolled over. Unlike Sunderland against us on Monday. We had no pressure and nothing to lose, yet we practically forfeited the game after Adam incident. If thats not negative, I don't know what is. Tit How would you describe our display after the red card then? Positive, bold and courageous?

How would you describe our display after the red card then? Positive, bold and courageous? I would describe it as exactly as I would have expected us to play against 11 men Spurs. Let's not pretend we could have done anything else without getting spanked. Charlie Adam fucked it up for us and that is that. H

Well put it this way, if someone had told me we would be above arsenal and Liverpool on Boxing Day and with the best defensive record in the league at the start of the season then I would describe that as an excellent 1st half of the season. I still think we get rid of pulis by the way, I just cannot stand the stick some people give him on here. People talking as if this is the worst period in the clubs history. Yes, the football is not entertaining and hasn't been consistently entertaining for ages. But compare every aspect of the club when pulis returned to now, and nobody can possibly argue that he has been anything but an all time legend for this club. He should leave this summer with his head held very, very high.

Not overly but his subs were wank and why Jerome was dropped is anyone's guess.

Begovic deserves an honourable mention when it comes to blaming people. WTF was he doing for the equaliser.

Lets just agree to disagree.

Wilson covering would have more than skipped off the surface to beggers and all danger avoided. Great start! Great to see the old players! No massive appreciation during the lap of honour for TP. Tad disappointed, but just wondering what's going to happen from now till August!

I guess we all have different opinions. Who has said it is right? It's just a fact that we played like that as to do anything else against that particular team would have opened us up entirely. Sometimes it's all you can do to defend for your fucking lives, we rarely have the skill to take it to another team with 11 men never mind 10. I don't know what you were expecting? It's not like we haven't done it before. H

I thought Mr Friend (of Spurs) was woeful today and gave them everything. That said the second yellow was a silly challenge (first never a yellow). When Adam went it demonstrated how much we missed his craft and creativity.
We are woefully short of any flair or pace and that's down to 1 man and his tactics. Things need to change and soon.
Today wasn't his fault.
Finally I have to say im not a fan of Whitehead but today I thought he was excellent as was NZonzi.
