The only pulis haters are the plastic premier league bandwagon supporters. Sorry you're wrong, some of us with well over 40 years supporting feel the same way.

That was a great point. Might not have been the most entertaining but is what in the circumstances was required. Anybody complaining about tonights performance is a nobend.

It was a point we would have all taken before the game and if all you know about the game is the result it was still a great point, but anybody who thinks that was a great performance tonight is a nobend. What's a nobend? Something that doesn't bend?

The only pulis haters are the plastic premier league bandwagon supporters. I find it's the people who (like me) have been watching at all levels for decades are the Pulis haters Hate is the wrong word but I agree with the sentiment and regard myself in that category. It's the new fans who've known nothing else but pulis who are his best supporters in the main.

I don't hate Pulis, in fact we should remember he kept us in the championship first time around, and he got us into the Prem. But I do hate the negative dross he foists on us the past 2 seasons

Of course I would of taken the point if it would have been offered before kick off.
However we all know that 3 points were more than on offer against a side who got thumped 6-1 by Villa, a player down and all over the place.
What on earth did Pulis mention in his half time team talk?!.

in the end, we got a solid draw away from home. Yes, it looked at half time like it should be a win, but a point is a point. Are you Pulis is disquise?

Before the game, I admit I would have been satisfied with a point
After a promising start, a goal and some confident passing I was enjoying watching my team look like a Premiership Club, albeit one on the lower half of this league.
A couple of fouls by Whitehead and then Jerome created some tension for both fans and players. Then Adam got a yellow and we began to look a bit nervous. The very reckless tackle on Charlie and the red card gave some hope that we could get all 3 points.
We were looking confident to move on from the half time whistle BUT Marc Wilson did not reappear for the second half. I thought that he was doing a good job on limiting Adam Johnsons performance.
Ryan Shotton, who is better suited to playing on the right allowed Johnson more space and time on the ball. We sat back, some of our composed passing disappeared, Adam and N'Zonzi however were playing well imo.
Bringing on Etherington for Adam was a big surprise. OK Matthew is slightly faster at chasing back on Johnson and Adam was on a yellow card
Adequate cover at LB is a must. We looked very nervous and then concede a goal!
Instead of looking for a winner, using our player advantage we sat back and it looked like we were a man down.
This is the frustrating part of Pulis tactics and he has had my support on many occasions. We threw away a great chance to be safe, get 3 back to back wins and ensure a more relaxed final home game v Spurs. As it is we will be tracking other teams in this mix come Sunday!

I was unable to watch last nights game on the TV or listen on the radio. Went on to BBC sport website at 10pm- I had been praying for a point- we had a point and I was punching the air. I had not expected 7 points from the last 3 games, I thought we may get just 1 point from those games. For a change Radio 5 live were quite complementary about Stoke, saying they were passing the ball around with ease in the first half, but not so good in the 2nd half.
I think we should be grateful to the team and TP for holding their nerve over the last 3 games and delivering the much needed points.

I'm still waiting to know where our spare man was. For me we should have brought on Ethers for Whitehead at HT and KJ for Crouch On 75ish to stretch them a bit.

As a season ticket holder since 1952 i havent renewed for the first time... and wont until Pulis goes...sooner watch the telly...its dire and not any sort of football i want to see.

But to watch them in person is pretty damn painful, especially away from home (actually we have been fairly shit at home as well) I still can't get my head around why I still trek for those away games.

The title of this thread is unbelievable.
If you look at the Premier League this season, it breaks down in my view into four leagues by status. There are seven elite clubs:
Manchester United Chelsea Manchester City Arsenal Spurs Everton Liverpool
Then you have three clubs, who if run properly, could challenge that group.
Aston Villa Sunderland Newcastle united.
There are five clubs whose main objective will always be to survive:
Norwich Southampton West Ham West Brom Stoke
The remaining five clubs are not really Premiership clubs:
Swansea QPR Reading Wigan Fulham
This in my view is the reality of today's Premier League and it would be difficult to see how the status structure could change anytime soon. Whether under Tony Pulis Stoke play the football the majority of fans want to see is debatable, what isn't debatable is that Stoke are at their maximum potential in this league currently. A wrong decision by the Board could change that dramatically.
