Very good points made again today. When is somebody with a microphone in their hand going to put valid supporters questions, raised on the show, to the manager? Once the 'press' get in front of Pulis they all run scared.

ray - listening from malta - looking bleak ... so frustrating and you've made some very valid points on the show. Angela was right that Man U never got out of first gear ... they didnt have to. our tactics stank. i could never see a goal coming from anywhere ... no heart in it by the players anymore bar Charlie Adam ... i like Ryan S but he has gone into hiding since this run started ... no personality no leadership ... just not captain material. if fans believe we can beat norwich or spurs or whoever, i honestly think they have their head buried in the sand because the form we're in just now we would struggle to beat a championship side let alone find another win in the premier league in the last 5 games we have left. obviously i hope i am wrong.

with the games against QPR & Norwich coming up, what would Jimmy's formation be and which player would he consider to be in the team that would be up for the fight????

Thank you to everyone for every single comment tonight. I do my best to read as many out as possible. If i could i would read every one but it could turn into the oatcake and twitter show with no time for our views (all the better at times!)
Lets hope for 3 points vs QPR and see you next week!

Thank you for the show, fingers crossed for 3 points and hopefully brighten the mood? If we do survive and get something from the last five games I would still stand by the manager stepping aside.

Re man management TP has been successful with the likes of Pennant as I believe he had the support of the team, they realised that Pennant had a lot to offer and were prepared to help out. Managing players who are prepared to voice their opinions which seems to be the case with N'Zonzi and possibly Adam, has divided the changing room imo and the players are very unsettled. Maybe Allardyce did the right thing in selling N'Zonzi despite his obvious talents Im my opinion TP's man management skills are one of the areas he's currently failing in, badly.......and he has been for some time. He's allowed the situation with Pennant to drag on for well over a year and during that time has relied on out of position players to cover the wings. Etherington seems shot since the FACup semi and he won't hardly ever play Kightly. With respect to kightly I don't especially rate him, tbh, but how can Pulis think that Shotton is a better option regardless of the game plan? With the exception of Fuller he does not appear to able to manage flair players and prefers Championship level 'ard workers. In addition he regularly only plays his favourites and doesn't even try anything new even when his old tactics are not working in any way at all. Let's face it we cannot even get defending right now, or home games. NZonzi was sold when Blackburn were relegated and Allardyce went so far as to recommend him to Pulis ' cause Blackburn wouldn't sell to Allardyce as I remember. So obviously "Big Sam" didn't see him as a problem in the dressing room, I guess. It's not difficult and opinionated players that are the problem at SCFC it is the manager.

Yes Muttley Angela's sense of humour even in the darkest hours! The song was picked for that reason. Thanks again for all the points and issues raised. We'll be back next week after a win hopefully. How will we cope ?

Which is what I expected to be fair. So anyone who doesn't tow the party line is run out of town. Why bother going to the press conference at all? I enjoy the Knot FM Sports Show as it has been a breath of fresh air from the same old same old on 'established' stations. I was hoping a bit more of the cavalier spirit of the show to carry over to represent supporters opinions to the club. No disrespect to the team who present the show but if Knot FM thinks they will get any favourable access/treatment by the club after hosting this kind of show with opinions expressed as they do, then it's highly unlikely anyway. Publish and be damned!!

'a journo being banned' - why would that be a bad thing? Journos who can only ask 'nice'questions and not ask 'awkward' questions for fear of being 'persona non gratis' are of limited use to the public at large - smells of Pravda? If the club had no Press outlet and their 'official' statements were ignored, then maybe they would find that they need the Press as much as vice versa. I say we should starve the club of the 'oxygen of publicity' as long as they starve the fans of honest answers to honest questions. What value do you think the Sentinel serves the footballing public of Stoke=-on-Trent and Stoke fans far and wide? Sorry - 'persona non grata' (long time since my last Latin lesson!!

Its just one of those things. I know Ange has asked many questions that would be seen difficult for TP to answer honestly and openly but as is his right, he doesn't have to answer. Thanks again for the nice comments and we pride ourselves on being honest and open in our opinions. Me, Ange & Gaz rarely agree on everything but thats the joy of the show, not being afraid to say what you feel as a passionate supporter (in the right way of course) and as a supporter we all have different views!

Claytonwood I ask questions and TP reserves the right to answer them or not as any manager, or person has the right. We will try to get the answers that all the fans wish for. Please feel free to send us any questions that you wish us to ask mail studio@knotfm.co.uk Thanks for your kind words re the show. Nothing to lose now on so many fronts

No podcast this week said so during the show I think. Back to normal next week according to Twitter. Shame because Jimmy G (real one) said we'll stay up. How I've no idea. Perhaps the most negative set of supporters views I've heard for years and all with valid points on why. The guy calling from Australia sounded so depressed and resigned to our fate, felt for him. At least we watch in the daylight not 3 am.
