Cuvelier contractLooks like we've got the option of an extra year as well. It'd be interesting to see if another manager would consider getting some mileage out of him, Wilson or Adam in midfield next season, because it'd be a long-shot for TP to give any of them a go, given the constraints of his system If we do replace the manager, it'll certainly be interesting to see how he views his midfield options over the summer. Ness is a complete unknowable - and Edu and Palacios seem lost causes for different reasons, but the other 3 could be legitimate options , of a decent enough standard, for a manager with a different approach

Not seen or heard much about him this season. As i said its a good move for him, lets see what he can do in the championship. Its just a shame that any mention of Cuvelier has to be turned into yet another Pulis hating thread, despite some of the comments on here Pulis has not let any young players go who have gone on to better things. Lets see what happens

My opinion of Flo is that he looks too small to be a succes in the Premier League. Unless of course he's as technical as say Cazorla or Silva.

Has he shot up over the last year? Mind you, there are plenty of diddy men who are doing quite well in the Premier League - and not all for technical teams. Morrison at WBA, Hoolahan at Norwich, Cabaye, Osman..... He could do with bulking up a bit, but maybe that will come naturally?

He's fine with keepers and centrebacks, we know this. We can't play with a team of them though no matter how much he might want to.

That video above is very interesting. He looks like he takes up wide positions quite a lot. Did Walsall play him out wide?
He looks like he has a lot of talent. We MUST integrate him into the first team soon, even if it is just League Cup games to make him feel wanted at this club.
Constantly sending him out on loan might give him the wrong impression. We must get the balance right, unlike what happened with Marshall.

Moving the goal posts again, this was about youth, not particular player positions, anyway, hopefully it will be Shea as hes still young and looks to have a bit to learn.

My opinion of Flo is that he looks too small to be a succes in the Premier League. Unless of course he's as technical as say Cazorla or Silva. Ah like Jack Wilshere? I fucking hate this shit about players being too small/lightweight. It does my fucking head in. If a player is good enough he is good enough, being small has its advantages just like being big does. This is what's wrong with English football. Regarding the loan move, just seems to me like Pulis is getting him out the way, takes away any suggestions that he should be given a chance. Feel like he did it with Arismendi last year after his excellent performance against Valencia, and I see this as a similar thing. Can't believe people are still trying to defend Pulis over his approach and views on youth and the academy

My opinion of Flo is that he looks too small to be a succes in the Premier League. Unless of course he's as technical as say Cazorla or Silva. What a weird and strange comment to make. When he first joined he was very small, around 5ft 6-5ft 7, and he was very thin. In the first few months at Stoke he bulked up ALOT and ovbiosuly, being only just 17 he had growing to do. He's now 20, and he's taller than me whenever I've been to watch him and see him after. He's around 6ft now and he's not exactly thin anymore, he's stocked and muscular. He's taller than the average Premier League footballer and taller and heavier than Wilshere, Cleverly, Defoe, Osman and all the foriegn players like Silva, Mata, Cazorla. If you doubt his technical skills, watch some of his goals or even better go and watch him play and see his vision and skill on the ball.
