It'll certainly liven things up if they win the game in hand against Norwich. I must dig out those brown pants Is Norwich definitely their game in hand? I thought it was their midweek game away at Man City in April. Yeah - the Norwich game is their next game, rather than their game in hand. In terms of pressurising the pack, you'd think they'd need to win that to have a decent shot at it.

What you mean it rules out the guy who got Blackpool promoted and nearly kept them up against all odds on the equivalent of a league 1 budget? Right ok. They also played football if I remember correctly. Make your bloody mind up then! Back a horse and stick to it. It's Poyet surely? He's from Montevideo and he wears a suit. Plus he's a really nice guy and let's the players call him 'Gus' He's like an exotic Nigel Adkins, Perfect! Nige Adkins is another genuine contender who is likewise, a very shrewd manager. All your doing in mentioning these managers is highlighting just how numerous are options are. I'd take Poyet, Martinez, Holloway or Adkins. All get their teams playing decent football with successful results. Joy!

If the majority want a manger who plays more open football, suprised no one has mentioned the manger of SC Freiburg, Christian Streich. Streich has been called a "cult figure", a "firebrand",and a "football philosopher" and is not doing that bad with Freiburg think they are 9th, but lost 5-2 to Wolfsburg in the weekend, but plenty of goals!
