I refer to my taste in music as "any old shit". I will listen to any old shite as long as I like it. From Black Sabbath to 808 State to Mozart via Half Man Half Biscuit. Half man half biscuits are brilliant. 99% of gargoyles look like bob todd Dr and the Crippens are equally as good

Most late 70's early 80's heavy metal and NWOBHM, always loved the vardis 100mph album. Electronic 80's, from depeche mode to cabaret Voltaire and all in between. Rammstein, rammstein and rammstein. Punk from the 70's. Reggae dub, king tubby, lee perry et al
How varied is that?
Really do detest all the shit that is about chart wise

Still listening to most of the same kinda stuff I enjoyed as a teenager.. Led Zep, Floyd, Jethro Tull, Alex Harvey etc.
Guess my favourite contemporary artist right now has to be Beth Hart... music just doesn't get much better than this imo

I like to think I've got a pretty diverse taste in music. Not sure how accurate that is though. I can probably pick at least one band/artist from every post in this thread so far that I like... Well, except BigKahunaBurger's post, that's just wrong...

Too many to mention, but a few of my favourites are: The Fall, Bloc Party, Foals, Friendly Fires, The Cure, The Smiths, Bowie, The Doors, Echo and the Bunnymen, Ladyhawke, U2, Pink Floyd, Manics...I could be here a long time.
I dip in and out of pretty much every genre from time to time, but I suppose the above bands are the kind of stuff that I listen to the most.
