I think this season he is trying to get the big money that is on offer from sky so he can buy a few new players and give it a real go next season.
One More Season Pulis or you are out

Whats the point? Life is way to short to persist with a manager for the sake of it.

Give TP a ten year contract and tell the turgid 200 they are no longer welcome at the Brit. So I'm not welcome at the club I've supported for nearly 40 years because I hold an opinion that differs from yours. You're pretty odious really aren't you.

I recall a lot of posts last season about 1 more season, see what happens without the extra European games. Nothing has changed in the way we approach away games so why would it change next season ?

I think this season he is trying to get the big money that is on offer from sky so he can buy a few new players and give it a real go next season. One More Season Pulis or you are out I'd love to know what Coates really thinks, because that what will really decide whether TP stays or goes. If he thinks Pulis is the safe bet for a regular mid-table finish, with the possibility of incremental improvement and the prospect of winning a cup, then Pulis will stay. If he thinks he could achieve those things with another manager who would do it by playing more entertaining football, then Pulis would go. Either way, Tone's almost certainly here for the rest of this season. Much will depend on how the rest of this season pans out and which potential managers might be available in the summer and willing to come to Stoke.

One More Season Pulis or you are out I thought something similar to this last season but nothing's changed. It's Pulis' mentality, he cannot change. Next season will be exactly this same, and that's only if we're lucky

The opening poster was like me last year because last season I thought we were dire and despite Europe we had no real excuses, it was down to TP. I thought he deserves another chance with what he's done and this season we'll have no excuses, there are no distractions and we'll be better for it. Boy was I wrong, we've been worse and the excuse of the money has come in.
What's next seasons excuse?
Enough is enough.

He's incapable of change.
He has no idea how to change and , in all likelihood, has no desire to change.
His whole gameplan is drilling his back 9 in defensive shape, defensive shape, defensive shape. It's his life raft, and he'll never shift from it.
Disastrously, he's now shackled himself to Crouch as his lone striker for the next 2 years. That spells pain all 'round.
This is the summer to change with the Sky money, potentially £10m+ for Begovic, and 7 wages shed from the wage bill creating a bit of room for a new broom to do some sweeping

Give TP a ten year contract and tell the turgid 200 they are no longer welcome at the Brit. March I have always respected your posts even though they often fly in the face of common sense, but to be honest you've overstepped the mark there mate. I'm one of the 200 and its my view that Tone should go. You might not agree but respect it please.

He's had enough time as it is.
I just want to see some football. Some life breathed back into the squad and the team. they're all starting to go stale, including the dugout, and the new signings aren't addressing that.
It's a downward spiral that needs nipping in the bud before it drives people away for good....again.

Despite our away tactics I really can't see many managers getting much more out of our squad when it comes to points! Look at Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa and their spending! We are doing quite well actually, but away we really could be more positive than we are!

Is Coates likely to fire Pulis? No. Is he likely to fire him even if we get relegated? No. Is Pulis likely to be offered a job elsewhere in the PL? No. Wales job? Unlikely. So is he likely to walk? No. Is it likely that Pulis's job description is much longer than one line - "stay in the PL"? I doubt it. Is Pulis likely to keep SCFC in the PL this season? Yes. Next season? Less likely, but yes probably. The season after? Ditto. Is he for as long as he is at SCFC likely to choose to change his approach? No. Will he be under pressure from Coates to do so? Unlikely. So is Pulis likely to be around for a while? Yes. Is there any indication of succession planning? No idea, but if you said "no, there isn't" I would not be surprised. Will we, eventually, find ourselves back in the Championship? Almost certainly.
