Great result, just a shame Juve didn't score a few more. Great to see Neil Lennon being gracious in defeat the utter cunter.

Well done to Celtic for going so far in this competition. No shame in last night; Juve are a fine team in top form. Celtic needed to be at their best and Juve off theirs to have a chance. Instead Juve played OK which was plenty good enough.
Still always next season as thanks to Rangers shenanigans they've got a straight run into the Champions League (qualifiers) for (at least) a couple of seasons to come.

H I'm no Celtic fan in fact as far from it as you can get, but i have to say that was one of the most unjust scorelines i have seen i a long time. Celtic were terrific in my view and certainly went at it in the best traditions of our club, great support, loads of energy and with better finishing and anything other than a shameful refereeing performance they would have certainly got something out of the game. Seriously now how many penalties should Celtic have had in that game, i dont know how many corners they had but they should have had one for every corner that went in, they made huth and shawx look like a kindergarten. Disgrace really.

You have to take your chances JSU, and Celtic had theirs, regardless if the ref had a shocker or not.
Couldn't have happened to a nicer football club.

It's not always on the surface, but, for an element on both sides, the hatred and intolerance remains. The good news is, the majority of folks don't give a shit. The bad news is it doesn't take many to make a whole load of shit happen. Be nice if we could stick to simple football rivalries - but this is Glasgow. It is what it is.

No, it isn't going to go away, so let's hope Scottish football does re-organise itself in the shameless desire simply to have both Rangers and Celtic in the Scottish Pointless League as soon as possible, simply so those of us south of the border can continue to ignore it, safe in the knowledge we won't be troubled by it down here.
It's been amusing seeing Rangers finally have their dodgy financial dealings catch up with them and get demoted to the third. It's been amusing seeing them shat on by any half decent team they come up against in the Cups, but anything that gives Celtic or Rangers more of an excuse to be automatically allowed into the Premier League is bad news so let's hope the blinkered pointlessness of their duopoly in Scotland is soon resumed.

Well I for one am always interested in watching football regardless of who is playing, it just so happens I dislike Celtic. That said however I don't take as much pleasure seeing them lose as I do the likes of Wolves. H

Mugged off in their own back yard.
Bad decision to play Ambrose, inept up top and woefully naive when it came to the dark arts of Italian defending (albeit the main culprit was a Swisser I think).
The ginger winger didn't help after the game either.
There.
Not a left / right foot subtext in sight.

Wasn't Lennon a holding midfielder rather than a winger? If you had said he was a whinger, I would have agreed with you, though. ;D

I really like Celtic.
It's a measure of their might that they remain one of world footballs great institutions despite plying their trade in a sadly underfunded league.
Oh, and good on Kris Commons, living the dream, beating Barcelona and a Champs League last 16 tie v Juventus is something to tell the grand children about.

For all manner of reasons, every football supporter in the world should loathe Celtic and Rangers.

Pogba, rolled round, heard final whistle, got up and stuck his tongue out whilst smiling at Juve player. Cheat. Swanseastokie thats what. You must be watching the welsh league? You should be. Thick as fuck son. I was on about your use of tiki-taki ya special measures chimp, a specific style of play that neither team were playing. I mean the continental style often referred to as such. Your sarcasm is outstanding, almost on par with your nobbyness
