I hope Shea gets a run out at some point. Seeing if the guy can make an impact is the only thing left to look forward to this season.

Anybody who puts Walters down as right winger knows zilch about football! It's either up front or not at all!! I agree but he can certainly operate in an attacking three, Walters and Jerome don't have to be dead centre to be effective, they can both work the channels just fine. Out wide they look isolated like everyone else.

id go Begovic Cameron Huth Shawcross Wilkinson Walters Nzonzi Adam Etherington Jones Jerome
if were going to lose lets give it a real go, Jones and Jerome deserve more time and more respect from Pulis

...............Sorro
Wilko Ryan Huth Wilson
Pennant Fonz Adam Ethers

Surely this team can do a lot better than the usual surrender away team and tactics.
1 win in 22 is it??? PATHETIC

Given our lack of decent right wingers (JP finished,Walters not a winger really,Kightly busy but lacks quality) would it be insane to play Ethers on the right once Shea is ready?

begovic whitehead huth shawcross wilson cameron adam nzonzi etherington---------------shea jones this is the way to go IMO. I'd be well happy with that, exciting to watch and if it ends in defeat at least it would be an entertaining defeat as opposed to our usual roll over and die capitulation

is there ANY chance JP could be back in the 'good books' at all? Maybe if he stopped acting like a pleb then the manager would start to take him seriously?

I reckon Shea will come on for Matty after 65 or so and that's all we should expect although that will depend on what's happening in the game. Pulis won't, and nor should he, feel obliged to give Shea his debut unless the circumstances are right. I'm as excited as the next man to see Shea play but let's not overload it.

I agree. 65th minute subed on for Matty. 66th minute 30 yard drive across goal into the top right corner.
