A very decent window in my opinion, and for those that aren't so convinced, let's not forget how important it was getting Ryan Shawcross to sign that five and a half year deal on January 3rd, for me the most important and impressive piece of business we have done in this window.

I'm quite happy with it tbh but if the links to full backs are anything to go by he can see we need one. But again we've done nowt about it, it's just frustrating.
Shawcross, Butland and Shea are three excellent signings though.
I must admit that I'm secretly delighted we got Butland, a bit of a coup that one.

I must admit I was hoping we would sign a full back, but I'm not too worried about it. Marc Wilson is only a few weeks away from full training again apparently, and let's not forget, the defenders we have at our disposal at the moment managed to keep 9 clean sheets in the opening 18 league games this season. They are more than capable, we just need to get back to basics again and work on sorting out the shape and organisation of the team.

They did Luke but I think we've been well and truly found out on that front. Wilson is close to coming back but he won't back to full fitness from a broken leg for months yet. It's still a massive worry for me.
