I dont care what Pennant is "guilty" of but surely he has to be a better option than Knightly. The bloke is a total waste of space. Man City played with ten men for 10 mins in the first half,we played with 10 men for 70 mins. For fucks sake Pulis,open your eyes and see what the rest of us see.  Today was a perfect chance to say to Pennant "Show me I was wrong" instead he played that plank yet again!! A reserve player in the championship at best.. |

Kightly was very poor yet AGAIN. You'd think Pulis would at least give Pennant one last chance, because, at the moment, both our supposed wingers are struggling big time. When did Ethers last beat a man?

Never seen a more piss poor winger in all my days following Stoke.

1. If he did something so apocalyptic he should have been told his last game was in November 2011.
2. Of course he can cross, dribble and take better set pieces than Kightly and anyone else at the club.

IF we're ever going to get two wingers at full pelt again we BADLY need two new signings in the summer and Ethers as impact sub - be lovely if we got someone in the window but can't see it tbh.

If jermaine came on today, kj stayed on with glen spreading balls to both Matty and jermaine I fancy it may have been different. Wish tp would just bend a bit whatever had happened the club comes first

Pennant might have pissed pulis off but its whats best for the team performance and not Tony's ego. I mean if SAF dropped permantly every player thats pissed him off Man Utd would be in a division lower. |

Regardless of what he has or hasn't done I am absolutely 100% convinced that I could take Pennant out on an all day bender and get one of my mates to pick us up at 10am on a Saturday morning so as to get us to the team meeting point ahead of a game.
Stick Pennant on the pitch, even pissed out of his head and barely able to walk straight because he is so pissed and he would still be better than Kightly.
In fact, Ryan Shotton on the right wing, would be better than Kightly.
The bloke is a complete and utter waste of space, time, effort and money. He is right up there with Tom Soares in terms of wide play.
