Utter genius. No one else could do it.
Favourite Stoke Goal:
Check the signature. For the sheer mental and meaning attached to the goal.

Non stoke, I couldn't pick my favourite matt le tissier goal never mind all time He did have some absolute belters. I loved watching him play. This one for me. Everything about it made the hair on my neck stand up. The casual way he ambled it 30yards, the explosive turn of pace, the feint one way and back, the perfect weak foot curler into the top corner, the smug 'piece of piss' look on his face and the fact that so many people said he was finished. I can watch it over and over again. As for non Stoke, as Salop says, i will have forgotten hundreds but i always loved this finish. Pure class and looks amazing in slow motion.

Too many to mention for so many different reasons. Platt v Belgium at Italia 90 for obvious reasons. Oconnor at Ninian Park in the play offs. Paaartalu v Central Coast in the ALeague final. Argentinas loads of passing goal v Serbia in 2006 Zidane in the 02 CL final. To name only a few

I love the Gascoigne goal above, not just because of the occasion and the celebration afterwards but for the sheer audacity of it. It ranks somewhere alongside this special Frank Worthington goal as being something out of the ordinary.
As for my favorite Stoke goal? I guess it would have to be Mark Stein's thunderbolt against The Shit.
