I was always taught that pricking your sausages was the way to go, but no.. a good quality banger does not need it.
You learn new things everyday.

Because you're average shit banger contains lots of water. The heat makes it expand and causes the sausage to explode.
Meat facts from a vegetarian. It must be New Year.

I was shocked at the meat content of the Richmond ones, especially as they did quality advertising and i used to like them if i'm honest, but the Sainsburys ones have such a better meat content and i don't have to prick them. but I bet i'm still miles away quality wise.
Walls are bad too..well for me anyway:(

Me too Okie about ten years ago , very nice indeed , but ridiculously overpriced , Padstein is a pleasant little place though If you are feeling energetic you can hire bicycles from Wadebridge and cycle the 7 miles along the Camel Trail to Padstow and back. It's a really lovely ride and works up a good appetite for fish and chips or pasty in Padstow.
