It's been email to them right now!
Also mailed the management company of the Leningrad Cowboys trying to get a good version from them.
Management / office : Leningrad Cowboys Ltd. Oy Lämmittäjänkatu 6, 00880 Helsinki, FINLAND
"Ref Delilah
Your version with the Russian Red Army Choir is simply brilliant and as you may know Delilah has been adopted as the club song by Stoke City Football Club, in England.
Stoke City is pushing for promotion to the English Premier League currently third and three matches to go. I would like to ask the club to play your version before the home matches including the live TV game on this Saturday.
I'm trying to find a high quality recorded version that I can forward to the club. Can you help us, urgently?
Many thanks in advance."

There is something about russian big band music, does anyone else think that the old Russian National Anthem is brilliant. Pisses all over ours i reckon.
The scene in the Hunt for the Red October when they sing it is a real turn the speakers up moment for me.
Is it just me, am i a closet communist?

Oh those Russians This has been posted elsewhere, but imagine it playing before the game on Saturday I'd prefer it not to. It sounds shit. How about instead, we turn all the gay music off & make some fucking noise ourselves. Grrrr I'm angry!

"We might have a concert in London next fall (with Red Army Choir!), I hope we can see all Stoke City fans there!" Sounds like a promoters opportunity here. The reviews of Berlin are brilliant. Are they still doing concerts at the Brit?

I think all the Stoke players and Pulis should sport Leningrad Cowboys wigs. As Bristol City fall about laughing, we take a two-goal lead. Way to go, Stoke!

I much prefer that kind of version with a bit more passion in it, rather than Tom Jones' version. Anyway, didn't we try to get the fat ass to sing it on the opening of the Stadium for the Swindon game and he wouldn't.
We should have a bif fuck off brass band marching round the pitch with two minutes before the players come out as they are in the tunnel, playing Delilah loud as fuck, much better than a tinny tannoy and Tome jones. Imagine Lawrence listening to Delilah in the tunnell before he comes out, knowing that song get's him going, he'll be whacking every Bristol player in there with him!!

I'll write to the promoters and see where we can see them in UK next. I've looked all over the web and this has to be the best performance inc the SAHB, TJ and others.

Well done, ke. I'll forgive your anti-smoking comments for that. The Ruskies are past masters at providing stirring stuff to their propaganda machine. I would have imagined this version of Delilah would have had them dying like flies in the battle for Berlin. Oh, I forgot, they did. Whatever, loved the haircuts. I used to have one of those. The choreography was a bit out. They were wearing winkle pickers instead of blue suede shoes. Winkle pickers and elephant trunk haircuts are a bit gay. OS.
