Hiya fellow Oaties.
I dont suppose if any of you are current/ex Royal Mail posties and could help me out?
Basically I've ordered some goods online, and when Google Chrome 'autofilled' my address its got just the first line of my address correct, the rest of the address is my old address in full.
So to the postie it reads: -
Flat 1, 25 Example Street - The correct bit 1b Example place-Wrong Example-Wrong Exampletown-Wrong BN1 1TG - First part correct - last bit Wrong)
Do you know what they are most likley to do? - do they deliver it to the property at the first line of the address - or the property linked to the postcode at the second line of the address?
I've dropped a note around to my old address - basically begging them to pop anything addressed to me through my door - but I was wondering (hoping) if there was any chance that they would drop it off at the property in the first line of the address.
I think I may have ruined Christmas. Any ideas?

if it was your regular postie who did the sorting in the office he would probably get it to you as he would know your name to the correct first line address and realise the boob
i used to deliver stallington and fulford and within no time you can read out an address and immediately put a surname to that address
although by the dates you show it looks like its gone tits up ;D
