He was given every chance to succeed. Surprised it took so long.

After he took over he did an interview and was told about analysis on zonal marking that pointed out Bolton weren't actually doing much better than they did with Megson. His response was most undignified.

it's funny really, all of the managers that become media darlings for their philosophies and 'the right way' speeches all end up either relegated or jobless.....or both. Phil Brown Owen Coyle Brendan Rodgers (ok maybe not relegated or jobless, but definitely pressure is mounting) Harry Redknapp Ian Holloway yet Pulis is criticised year after year yet he still delivers results for us every season You forgot Tony Mowbray. I expect Chris Hughton next, followed hopefully by Nigel Adkins.

I have a deep, deep dislike for the man but he is a million times a better manager than the rest of that list put together.

I wonder if that Bolton pipe who had his letter published in the Arsenal Oatcake will write back in? I'd love to get his input ;D ;D

What's Bolton's loss is the Job Centre's gain.
Nothing against him personally (although he really does look like a twat!) but if you talk the talk like he did on numerous occasions, you really have got to walk the walk.

Yes you are right, it all went totally pear shaped for them after Wembley didn't it ? Hard to understand why really but that game seemed to be the catalyst of their decline .You can see Burnley fans doing the conga already ;D The day he left Burnley was the day I lost respect for him. +1

I actually like Hughton a very dignified man who doesn't go courting press adulation unlike the others bar Mowbray.

An over hyped dick head always going on about how football should be played 'the right way' Well piss off to the dole que and hopefully we will never see you again. I wonder how all the press tosser's who thought he was the dogs bollocks feel now? They're all tonsils deep up Brendon Rodgers arsehole. Lets hope the outcome is the same.

They should beg Megson to go back - a proper manager who knows the job inside out.

The Boltolona love in was always hilarious and the most likely outcome of it was disaster. They never were the footballing Gods Coyle or the media liked to portray them as. Once that delusion was engraved on Coyle's mind they were fucked.
