And another England coach who picks players on fashion rather than form. We were lucky to get away with that.

We look better when we play the only way we can, go at 'em.
None of that early 'look at us playing international football' bollocks, slow, boring, predictable.

Possession can't work when you play with shite defenders and Lam[ard/Gerrard who are as dynamic as a doc martin boot.

Johnson is an awful defender,I wonder why Pulis hasn't tried to sign him. Welbeck, must have thought he was wearing a Shit top at Old Trafford, the way he dived. Or as Andy Townsend put it, "he was too honest for his own good."

Lampard man of the match? I'd forgotten he was playing until he took the penalty.

I think it was more of a case of who wasn't the shittest rather than man of the match.. Milner wasn't bad either.
Gerrard, Ox, Lescott, Jagielka, Johnson, Cleverley were utter fucking wank.

Crouch, Lambert, Carroll or Holt - You need to have one of these big lads on the bench. Simple fact is if we still need route 1 then we need someone who can win a long ball.

Glen Johnson just committed the worst piece of full-back play since Jason Kavanagh tried to mark Fran Tierney. I really don't know Glen Johnson plays for his country as a defender. His positional sense is absolutely woeful, he was playing more advanced than Jermaine Defoe tonight! A defenders primary task is to defend and he is absolutely dreadful at it.

To be fair we had a lot of players out injured, we created enough chances to win a few games, they only scored with a wonder strike, and we had a perfectly good goal disallowed. Ukraine were hanging on by the end until captain fantastic decided to try a tackle from behind whilst on a yellow card. I'd like to see Micah Richards in the team but to be fair he let down Pearce during the Olympics with some shocking performances in the Olympics, considering Pearce was hammered for selecting him ahead of Beckham he made him look like a right tool. A big man at least on the bench would be nice but seen as the talk for the last 2 years has been about changing our philosophy to basically become Spain then lumping it forward would have been seen as sign of desperation.
As England manager all Hodgson can do is win to keep the critics off his back, and it was a draw so he'll get a bit of flak for it. Can say he could of picked so-and-so instead of whoseit, got Cahill and Richards not involved, as well as anyone who doesn't play for a big club. But no one left out would have won the game for us. If Cleverly could fucking shoot to save his life then he'd have a brace and the bottle of champagne but there we are.

Yep, he did alright as well last season and offers something different.
