Has anyone any experience of the ebay buyer protection service? It looks like I may have been done over by a seller. I paid via paypal. Cheers

I've been through it a couple of times and both times they refunded but also let the seller keep the cash as they couldn't decide either way, I thought it was a little strange as the seller gave next to no evidence, you should be okay, it does take time tho, have you contacted the seller to tell them you're going to make a claim? It might kick them into action.

i sold a cd, posted item, positive feedback received, week later payment had been refunded out of my paypal account without my authorisation and no email or any contact to tell me why. i asked ebay+paypal why take my money without even letting me know and they told me they can't tell me why, it's a criminal matter, speak to the police. wasn't about the money, i got done.

The buyer is king on eBay.
If you paid through PayPal, that honky is toast.
