Chatting about this with some friends and we all came to the same theory. This Hazell fella tries it on with Tia when they're the only ones in the house. She says no and says she'll tell her family. Hazell realises he'll be going to prison for a long time and will lose everything if she tells anyone. He panics and decides that the only way to keep her quiet is to kill her. Here is my Sherlock Holmes assessment of what has gone on pretty similar to that above: Hazell had already nailed Tia's mother and her grandmother and his drug addled mind saw a unique hat-trick if he could add Tia to the list. It's perfectly possible that Hazell had already abused Tia over a period of weeks or months but for whatever reason, probably Tia threatening to tell someone, something brought events to a head that terrible day last week.

You'd think the first place they'd have looked would have been the house and garden. they did, they searched her room, then the house with dogs, then went back again, the body must have been very well hidden or the house was searched by the Romans from 'The life of Brian' Sad news RIP little girl I'm thinking it was searched by the Romans.

What annoys me is the use of the word "Step" to describe these type of folk. They aren't "step" anything. They are nothing other than the latest in a long line of shag buddies.
As for being a grandparent in their 30s as her real grandma was, no wonder kids today think anyone over 30 is old.
And where are the parents in all this? This country/society is fucked.

Grandmother arrested this morning on suspicion of murder which blows those theories sky high. How about grandmother and partner dealing drugs caught by Tia so they bump her off to try and shut her up knowing that he will go down for long time if caught.

This, like the Matthews case, gives us another insight into the white trash, zombie class, scummy extended families making their way into every corner of Britain.

The gran is so morally corrupt she was breeding at 15 and will have a relationship with her daughters ex so i really wouldnt be surprised if she tried to cover his actions up, however vile. She is hardly going to be turning men away so she is probebly desparate to keep anyone who will look at her. Its just another symptom if the death of morals, standards and family values across huge swathes of the country. These fucked up inbred 'families' with interchangable partners and an ever decreasing gene pool are gtowing unchecked and getting out of hand, anf as always its the kids who suffer.

. . . did this sort of thing happen years ago? Were there these sort of people around? Went to my uncles funeral not that long ago ( he was 85 - a good innings ) and there was a bit of a talk about his childhood, working the farms, home guard etc and it struck me how that generation, for one reason or another, seemed to have a far superior moral code compared to now. Can you imagine asking these pr**ks to do something for their country? There would be a whole outpouring of excuses. It really saddens me that these people are allowed to spread their defective genes around. The kids don't have a chance. How the hell do we fix what is happening?

The Moors Murderers are an example here. Would they have been caught earlier with the modern policing techniques and therefore saved a few innocent lives? Also, were there examples of Children going missing but it not being reported? I mean how often would it have made the national news like this case did? However, whichever case it is still a travesty and it is such a shame that it involves another innonect child.

the body must have been very well hidden or the house was searched by the Romans from 'The life of Brian' I'm sorry but! ;D ;D ;D RIP Tia. This country is fucked and will only get worse. There are three generations of families in this city who have never worked and see nothing wrong with living their life, like of a leech, on benefits. Successive governments have failed to address the problems of this underclass and has been already said ask them to do a bit of work for their benefits and the numbers of those claiming incapacity benefits goes up! Draconian action needs taking to address all this.

TBH, bring back the death penalty for him
Modern society is a tough one to call.
On one hand I don't want a culture where people don't have to work and can live off benefits for generations.
On the other, you can't force abortions / adoption on people and it seems rather unfair to cut their benefits because it is the kids who suffer.
There are genuine reasons for being unemployed (& it is tough to find work at the moment), but to draw some sort of arbitrary line in the sand, say, after 1 year, no more job seekers for you, is a difficult sell for the Government, even if it would be popular with voters.
My Dad lost his job in the early 90's recession and rather than mop about and do f*** all he got a temporary job in a yoghurt factory, which wasn't what he wanted to do and not in anyway linked to his profession (distribution manager), but it's a job, brings cash in (slightly more than dole), gives you a bit of self respect and TBH, looks good on your CV. I'd be much more likely to employ someone whose done some work in whatever role when times are tough than just sat on their arse all day, it shows motivation.

In terms of the strange and open partner swapping I'd say things are different. Abuse within the family though has certainly been going on for generations. Things were swept under carpets and family members protected. There were decent people then as now and there were scumbags then as now.
