worst ending = Prometheus!!! entire film had bugger all to do with the Alien trilogy then at the end "Ooh 30 seconds left, let's lever in the alien thingy that had nothing to do with the rest of the film and then we're done"...lazy,sloppy, untidy and just cak! Although I agree with you about it being shit, there was a few things all the way through that linked to the trilogy, for example the coordinates for the planet they landed on being quite close to the first one in Alien. Sorry for being a cunt ;D

Think of the films I've seen, Shawshank and Seven have the best endings, for completely different reasons.

Oldboy has a great ending, very dark but mind-blowing at the same time. Kill List has a great ending too, once you've put the pieces together. Memento is another great film with a brilliant finale. Lucky Number Slevin, The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, Se7en, The Orphanage – all brilliant films with great endings. completely agree with Oldboy, quality (if perhaps a little disturbed) film.very cleverly done! another bad film ending - The Prestige! tries to be a clever, serious film then basically asks you to believe at the end that "Magic" really does exist, ruined it completely! the film equivalent of a child's story you write at school when you're 5 and say "And then i woke up and it was all a dream, the end!" bcause you can't think of any other way of getting out of it and finishing it off ***SPOILER*** The ending to Prestige is fantastic. The viewer is made to believe that there is something more to Bale's trick throughout the entire firm, but the trick was as Caine repeatedly said in the film. The ending for Jackman's trick is a bit farfetched but I think the film deserves some leeway with that.
