He was discribed in one paper today as a giant defender just how big is he ? or was it just the press stereotyping us again

6'3" isn't he? A bit small for a Stoke full back though!!!!
Poll taken from Dynamo website at the beginning of last season:
Q: Where should Geoff Cameron play?
66% Centerback 47 votes
4% Right midfield 3 votes
0% Defensive right 0 votes
7% Attacking midfield 5 votes
22% Defensive midfield 16 votes
71 votes | Poll has closed
Yeah okay Tone, play him at right back...... ???

My concern with this guy is that at 27 he should be nearing his peak, and with that in mind, how will he cope with the difference in gulf between the MLS and Premier League.
It's a massive step up and probably akin to us signing a CB from league 1.
I also wonder how much of this is down to marketing.

I don't get the point of this thread? It's common knowledge that Cameron is about to sign.

You are telling us something we've known for ages! Anyway, Hackett said our new right back will be signing before the weekend and this new right back is apparently Cameron. So you have just repeated what he said yesterday! Olsson is a LB or LM. I worry for anyone who takes Hackett's word seriously. HE HAS NO FUCKING CLUE!

Let's hope he is a good buy, many people apart from me knock Pulis for not signing overseas and unknowns, I'd be impressed if he was a real find. It's a bit harsh to criticise Pulis before the lad has even played a game, he might be shit hot.

As i know a Blackburn fan and he comfirmed to me on tuesday that olsson was deffo at training with them. And that he has not even asked to move and from what he knows theres been no bid or no approach people jumping the gun too much on Olsson. Kightly will be first signing apart from Cameron and Ness possibly

Don't worry about Ness, Tp will stick by him now he is injured and offer him a 10 year contract insisting Stoke City is a club that looks after it's injured players. ;D

Yeah kightly joining and your right about Matty Jarvis just heard he could be going QPR. They really are a pain in the arse is there any players QPR and West Ham aren't interested in. I think they could be left in a situation where theyll struggle to keep all there players happy.
