I imagine this is all a load of bollocks,
However, IF it is not....
Mark Rivers would be a very good signing IMHO!

Agree about Rivers being a good signing. Pacy decent cross can score goals and is right footed - and knows the area. Are Norwich wanting to get rid? If so he could do a good job for us.

Think it was last seasons 1-1 draw (when Krissy Commons scored that great goal) that Rivers caused us a fair few problems.
Looked a good player and one that would help to continue our ever improving squad!

I dont think he is getting as much first team action as he would like,
and with Norwich bringing in, Huckerby and Co, I imagine they are trying to get rid of unwanted wages,
If its anyone from that list I reckon it is Rivers.

If this isn't bullshit, it has to be Rivers or Lomas surely?! ???

Isn't Lomas about 63 now Someone posted that he was 30 which has to be bollocks surely ??? Rivers isn't in the Norwich side at the moment and for Hooky or Neal to continue as a right-winger is ridiculous. However, if Svard isn't going to get a chance in central midfield, I'd still like to see a playmaker join and move Russell onto the wing.

I thought Darel Russell was crap?! ;D

I think Neal, if he bulked up a bit, would do a job in the centre. After all he has said that is his favourite position. Then we could push Russell out to the right. That is of course if this 'imminent' signing is not as 'imminent' as the title of this thread suggests!! But then again what do I know?

Pricey, you have to remember that JimmyG has been living at altitude recently (Verbier - ooh there's posh). It is well known that living at altitude makes you inconsistent in your views on Darrell Russell! ;D Mike, did you get to see my Dolomites photos - and where are yours?

Jimmy, Lomas is definitely only 30.
It does seem like he's been around forever though.
He was linked with a loan move to Forest over the weekend, I think?.

First off, I still don't rate Darel but TP obviously does. If he's going to play then I'd rather he was on the right. John...great shots of your trip. Did you enjoy the Hidden Valley? Looks great My shots are on a crappy little camera although the neighbours have a few good ones on digital. I'll try and get a few but we don't take action shots, just scenes and me with a beer in my gob!!! Champoluc in just over three weeks ;D

Jarrett & Jackson are according to "her indoors" going no where as Wigan have a smaller squad that us...at least untill the end of the season.
She did however suggest a certain Tony dinning ??? .....but I don't want him, he has baggage (why do you think a player that cost £750,000 keeps getting shipped out on loan)

If Lomas isn't fit, as suggested by those articles, with West Ham wanting him back as soon as he is fit again, it'd be a waste of time us loaning him. If that's who the mystery loan signing is.
