I've visited 14 states, but never been to Ohio or Kansas. We are looking forward to seeing what Columbus and Ohio has for us to see. The words "fuck all" come to mind I live on the outskirts of Cincinnati (about 90 miles form Columbus). Been here just over 3 years. Are you planning on driving from Columbus to KC? It's a fair old jaunt... If you head south from Columbus you have the National Air Force museum in Dayton - www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Never been there myself (going this summer when my folks are over) but I hear it's good! In Cincinnati you have a theme park - Kings Island. www.visitkingsisland.com/That's about 5 miles from my place. Very much like Alton Towers and only about 20 quid to get in. Open from 10am - 10pm. Nice big waterpark etc. You also have the Cincinnati Reds if baseball floats your boat. Tickets start at $5. If you have any questions, give me a shout.

Thanks Mainville. We will fly between the games, but hire a car to get around. Still waiting to see where and when the third game will be, then well decide when to fly between cities.
We may well take in a Reds game if there is a suitable one. Not big baseball fans, but like to take in the local culture.

Despite what vivaguillermo says, you probably won't be able to get a direct flight to Columbus. I visit family about 25 miles from Columbus and have to take an internal flight to Chicago to get a flight home to the UK.
