Liverpool need to sign a goalscorer this summer - Jan Molby
Former Liverpool midfielder Jan Molby says the Reds need to buy another striker this summer, despite spending £57.7m on Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
Liverpool announced an annual loss of £49.4m on Thursday. ;D
A good read for anyone who enjoys a laugh at Liverpool and some of their deluded fans (not all) and ex footballing 'pundits' www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17937234

Although not on the same scale we have spunked a lot of cash on strikers but its apparent we still need another one..so whats the difference? Liverpool should have aspirations for a top 4 finish and they won't achieve it with Carroll up front.

Shoot me down but I think Carroll is a decent player (not worth £35m maybe) but, as often happens, no matter how good a player they still have to "fit" the team and tactics. Nice to be able to laugh at the bin dippers though ;D I'm sure we could make Messi look pretty ordinary

Agree, Carroll IS a good player and it was totally not his fault that Liverpool decided to pay Newcastle something like £20 million more than his true market value, or if Newcastle hadn't known about the ludicrously high fee that Chelsea had just paid for Torres.

I really rate Carroll and the abuse he gets isn't justified by any means.
Yeah, Liverpool payed WAY over the odds for him but that's hardly his fault is it? He's a good player who will get better with age and experience.
