If we had a manager who picked his best team, instead of his favourite players playing out of position, we could have finished a hell of a lot higher, which would put a LOT more money in the coffers for next season and maybe let alot more in, making us lose out on points Point being that we are clueless going forward. Get it? but we get points, so who cares Point being that we are fucking boring to watch. if stoke bore you fuck off else where then multiquote wouldnt work ;D

Come on Matt, you are less bored than most of us as you're down in the concourse 10 minutes before half time and don't see it. Pissed up at away games, so you think we play like Barcelona. We're the lowest scoring team in all divisions and it's a fact! We get points, it's shit to watch, i care! 800k per league position tells you we should be moving mountains to get ahead after safety, 4 positions = a new signing for fuck all outlay!

We certainly need to score more goals! This is something we need to improve next season!

We obviously have a good points to goals ratio so yes we are doing something right IN SOME GAMES !! When we are playing well our system means we don't have to score many to get points.
The other side of the coin is that once we have let a goal in, especially away from home, we can usually expect a draw at best. That can be dispiriting.

We look a much better side when we loosen the shackles and have a go. Look at the last 20 minutes last night. Look at the last two months of last season. We know we can play like that so why not try and do it more often? How many negative, one dimensional sides cement a place in the top 10?

We are just not the lowest goalscorers.
In the interests of fairness I've had a quick look at the lowest goals per game (ours is 0.94) and there are at least six with worse records than us.
Can't be arsed to look at all of them. But just look one league below us and you'll find Coventry (0.89) and Doncaster (0.93) with fewer goals per game.

some people would rather we draw 36 games and win 2 games 1-0 every season. Very ambitious.....
