Cant remember the last time I felt so fucking apathetic about a fixture, and I suppose the best we can hope for is a 0-0. Maybe he should play our second string (whatever the fuck that is, or shall we call it our Valencia away side which played with a lot more flair than we usually do), and rest a few up so we can try and wipe the smug smile off Mankinis fucking face come Saturday. I will watch as usual in hope more than expectation.

Some anorak facts for you: -
Victory on Wednesday would give Stoke their first ever league double over Spurs. They also beat them on penalties in the third round of the Carling Cup this season.
Spurs have been beaten in their last three Premier League games - defeat on Wednesday would make this their worst run since losing six in a row from October to November 2004.
They have scored in each of their last 19 top-flight games at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham have won only one of the eight league games in which they conceded the opening goal this season
Spurs have drawn 99 Premier League games at White Hart Lane.
Stoke have lost eight successive league games in London.
Stoke have scored nine away league goals this term. Only Fulham (eight) have a worse record.
Stoke have won all six of the Premier League matches this season in which they led at half-time.

Paul Merson reckons 3-0 to the spuds. I think we may surprise them and sneak a 1-0 or 2-1 away win. Since the England position came up Spurs players must be wondering who will be their manager next year - with that uncertainty you never know.

If we play the normal 4-4-1-1 which we will (yawn fucking yawn)
I'd like to see(if all fit)
Tommy Wilko Ryan Huth Wilson Pennant Whitehead Palacios Matty Shotton Crouch
Reckon young Shotton can do the withdrawn striker roll and may even be a little easier on the eyes
but would much prefer we evolved to the 4-3-3 that looked so good in Valencia.
same goalie and back 4
Whitehead Palacios Whelan
Shotton Crouch Jerome

For God's sake, you cannot be serious?????!!!! And it's role not roll! That's before Lakeland Potter tells you off.

Pulis will make a few changes for tonights game after a difficult game at Anfield, Spurs players will still be in shock after what they witnessed at white hart lane on saturday.
team prediction: -
Begovic Wilko Ryan Huthy Wilson
Shotton Palacios Delap Ethers
Crouch Walters
Prediction - we will start off poor and sit back first half, conceding to a Van der Vaart goal. Second half we will look much more lively and score from a set piece. Final score 1-1

Sentinel seems to think Pennant will be on the left, with Shotton on the right.
They go with:
Begovic Wilko-Huth-Shawcross-Wilson Shotton-Delap-Palacios-Pennant Jerome-Jones.
Really can't see him leaving out both Crouch (old club)and Walters (safety blanket) though.

Prediction for tomorrow.
Oatcake full of:
'Player A is wank', 'Player B is shit', 'where's the pace and mobility', 'Pulis Out', 'that's it, I'm not renewing' 'I'm picking my games from now' 'we had easy draws in the FA Cup and Europe' 'If everyone below us wins every game we could be in trouble' 'We're going down next year'
Can't wait.

Adebayor and Lennon are out, aren't they?
So it'll probably be Saha and Defoe (or just one up front?)
Bolton were playing really well against them in the first half on Saturday before the Muamba incident.
And they've lost the last three.
If we can frustrate them for the first half hour, their fans will get jittery with Champions League qualification on the line.
