Every fan knows that the way to do it is to whip a panel up and look at all the diving incidents, and give retrospective bans.
So why cant the people who make these decisions know this!? It seriously baffles me.

Better not let Sheikmomo on that board. Drogba banned for life and JP winning the 'Acceptable Dive of the Season' award, complete with a newly chromed Ferrari and a date with him to watch Mama Mia.

Whilst I am more than happy to condemn both, if you fail to spot the difference between that 'Villa' incident and what Drogba has done for a whole career and last night, I can only conclude you are a little bit simple.

Is the one who pretends to be simple simple? Or the one who believes that the one pretending to be simple really is simple, simple? Of course I do not believe that you agree with certain types of dive. Although I did not expect to have to clearly state it. I thought that a smiley would have been sufficient.

drogba great striker, stinking cheat. Henry pace trickery, good finisher, couldnt head a ball for toffee. Shearer very similar to drobga. Van nistelrooy was great in the box, always poaching a goal.
Lots of different types of strikers, owen, robbie keane, zola and bergkamp were all great on their days.

Henry, Bergkamp, RVP is peaking and looks invincible at the moment.

I dont give a Donkeys Donger, how good a player he is,a cheat is a cheat is a cheat. I'm inclined to agree. ;D ;D ;D And after I went to bed last night; I'm not really sure how this thread took the course that it did. I certainly never said that Drogba was the only one; nor do I believe from a quick scan through, that Sheikhmomo did! The fact that JP may have helped us to win a game by a dive does not mean that I agree with his behaviour! Nor does the fact that JP once dived, make anyone who disagrees with Drogba's behaviour either sanctimonious or hypocritical? Nor does JP's dive put him in the same bracket as Drogba! I said last night and i repeat; Drogba's behaviour is not opportunistic, as JP's could be categorised (not that I agree with it!) but it is his entire gameplan. He would fall over for a penalty, rather than put the ball into an empty goal because he may just gain the advantage of reducing the opposition to 10 men at the same time. I doubt that in forty years of watching football I have seen a more offensive cheat and yes; that includes Stan Bowles. Franny Lee and Christiano Ronaldo!

With Chelsea likely to part ways with several of their 'old guard' this summer, including Drogba, I don't think there's any Stoke fan who wouldn't take the Ivorian. That said, do you think there's any chance he'd come here?

you serious very good player but really the best in 30 years? shearer springs to mind straight away scored a bag full at every club he played for bergkamp and henry were imo easily superior to drogba but thats what makes football a great talking point .. opinions
