Wonder if that'll be Ric's last start for us? But that was cracking management today, very much including giving Ric the start but -1 for playing him out of position. After he went off all our strength and discipline held us together, we could easily have come away with a deserved point. The regret is we'll probably never see a weaker Chelsea side 8 from me

Would have prefered to see Ric up front rather than on the wing. Would have liked to see Palacios starting instead of Diao. Other than that no real complaints. 7.5 From me.

Very like the formation away to Valancia. I'm sure it was supposed to be a 433 not a 451.
I'll give TP an 8.5. The formation seemed to be set to give us a decent chance of a point until Ric went off. My main gripe would be that Diao was a) never going to last the full game and b) always likely to get a yellow in the first half.
I'd have liked to have seen Palacios or Arismendi in Daio's place. Apart from that (and with an eye on next week, when TP will want to field a different formation and team) I've no complaints.

I dont think he's done much wrong at all. The Liverpool game is the most important game in the next 3 weeks. With 11 men we would probably have a point now and rested:
Crouch, Whelan, Etherington.
8 from me

I thought we played well, defended valliantly and bar some poor delivery and wasteful finishing could have sneaked a point
Obv saving the big guns for the cup game next week, but I like this 433 gubbins a lot!
7 out of 10 for me.

When I saw the team sheat at 2pm, I was very encouraged - I thought we'd play 4-4-1-1, with Jones in the hole and Ric up top. I'm not at all sure we did set up like we did at Valencia - if we did do, then (with the personnel he used) TP was off his head. Walters and Whitehead instead of Palacios and Arismendi and Shotton playing as one of the front three - nah, we didn't set up like that, with those players did we, surely not? 7 (Fuller should have lead the line)

TP usually show The Big Clubs much respect, and sometimes rightly so. Chelsea, however, was suddenly within reach before the match. Including Diao in the starting line-up was raising the white flag halfway up the mast even before kick-off, though. Why Salif 'Please Give Me A Yellow Card ASAP' Diao is starting and not Palacios (or even Arismendi) is anyones guess.
Including Fuller in the starting XI was baffling as well. Why not ease him back into playing instead of throwing him straight into the team facing Chelsea? We all know that RF has a temper and Stamford Bridge might not be the best place to start. And on the wing?
So 4 from me: 1 for finding the ground, 1 for starting with 11 players, 1 as a big 'Thank You' to Beggo for saving us today and 1 to the Stokies who travelled to London.

Bit like Valencia, 4 for pulis but 10 for the players! Obviously the 10 players, 1 braindead numpty deserves none! Where on earth pulis dreamed diao up from I'll never know, yellow card waiting happen and it didn't take long in coming! Why fuller left wing?? Why play jones with no wingers. Fuller actually cost us today but the team pulis sent out was a white flag one again
