Why are they knuckle draggers just because they want Vale to go under? It was only in may that the loudest cheers in decades came from Burslem and that was when Man City scored in the FA cup final. If it was us in the same boat they would be having street partys. Coud'nt agree more, they loved us losing the final so now its there turn to take some shit

On OVF last week, they were delighting in the fact that their Reserve team had beaten our youth team 2-1 in a game at Vale Park.
You would think they had won the Champions League from their responses and simultaneously relegated us to the Evo-Stik Leagues.
Until Vale fans forget about SCFC they will continue to decline. That 5 year blip when we were competing with them has gone. It was a once in a lifetime experience that will never return. Their level is Crewe, Burton, Chesterfield, Shrewsbury, Rochdale, etc. And there is nothing wrong with that!!!
They have to accept their current circimstances and model their club on the likes of Crewe. It will take a couple of decades of Division 4/Blue Square football before the dividends are seen.
Don't forget, these are the people who hounded out John Rudge because they hadn't made the playoffs to the Prem!!
I see they are still moaning at the council. Had the council been successful in its initial wishes then there would now be a 35,000 seater stadium at Festival Park, shared by both clubs. If that had happened, Vale wouldn't have bankrupted themselves twice trying to improve their ground

And according to one poster on OVF, The Oatcake's moderators are revelling in their problems. The cheek of it.

I'd say it's been pretty 50/50 on here.
Went down there with the old man today and for a supposed 'save the Vale' day you'd think the whole local community would be there, 5,500 was pretty pathetic. Once the manager and main players leave in the coming weeks these numbers will decline sharply. No one wants to buy the club and take on the debts, and in its current state there's no way of repaying the debt.
Always given Vale fans as much as I've got and pissed myself when they dropped to division 4 following our return to the top flight, but considering this administration will either lead to further relegation or the sale of Vale Park I can't help but feel a little sorry for the bastards.
